Every method or way to earn money has been tested through years and the market is the same, business too. Just innovate and then someone will notice your growth
 
Dropshipping might be a good idea. You can start with a simple Shopify store to gain experience.
 
In regards to dropshipping, I have a list of approximately 24,000 factories, exporters and wholesalers from China with contact details that I work through which gets me around the usual Alibaba scrum and gives me areas other people aren't looking. Being in China currently helps.

If you're going to go the dropshipping route, give yourself some kind of advantage or difference. Don't follow the herd.
