Stuff like this is becoming more and more common. I wonder if anyone actually pays the ransom?

But hey, at least the insurance policy has a $1,000 deductible in a case like this. lol.

There is a javascript attack that is effective in defeating ASLR on 22 different architectures.

That defeating ASLR open a computer up to infection, I would say that these attacks will become more common in the world. I would also say that governments and others with critical data will begin applying basic computer security in not allowing the intranet to access the internet.
