I loved the empire market. But they got too big.
They risk life sentences so that we can buy illegal drugs lol. I am not saying they deserve the millions of dollars they scammed.
But..
Two years was too long of a time for a darknet market to be that stable.
As a rule of thumb, do not keep any money in your market wallet.
There is a big gap right now. There are many who are technically sound enough to create a market but don't have the balls to do so.

Yeah when someone designs a model for a DNM where the incentive to prolong and avoid exits is reinforced by an actual mechanism, we will be safe.
ie. with BTC, the creator(s) made more by designing a system that grows in value over time.. so do users, early adopters and later adopters.. so BTC grows, everyone benefits.
But the sad reality of DNMs is what you said - gets to a point where the reward for exiting vastly outweighs continuing.. no way of being found by robbed users, get a huge swag, avoid LE catching them by continuing.. so why not exit?
But if a certain amount of all fees we locked/vested on an anonymous blockchain for the owners to only get after a period of time, everyone knows the owners/mgmt are incentivised not to exit.. there are other variations too.. it's the future of DNM I think.
Yep, DNM dev and the level of OPSEC needed to remain safe is no joke. Knowing that you have LE around the world working 24/7 to find your one small fuck up and pinch you for 20+ years makes the gazillions you're making each week not worth it.
There's easier and smart ways to make $$ than DNM. Also have always though that anyone that facilitates the mass sale of chems like smack, fentanyl etc deserves the karma they get. Opioids are seriously evil drugs.
Helping people to sell them is not a good way to make money. Someone offered me $10M to sell smack online right now I can honestly say I would knock that back in a heartbeat and not because of the risk.. because if you see ppl first hand on that shit it's enough to want to avoid it.

That would do infinitely more, but I don't have a motorcycle license and my shoulders are too rounded to bear the weight of a genuine leather jacket. Quoting Nietzsche is much cheaper and more suited to my anatomy.
