Just got an e-mail from NameCheap saying that any "domain holders with sites associated to "commercial activity" will no longer be able to protect their private information with WHOIS protection services."

That's damn nonsense and so I wanted to let everyone else know just in case.

Basically if you want to object them google RespectOurPrivacy, it will lead you through the process.

Your not going to get them to change unless you convince SJW's that it will lead to women being stalked,raped and killed. Then the backlash from the public will cause ICANN to reverse the new policy.

Yeh, that's probably true because ICANN wouldn't simply agree to such a thing. I figure it's a new way to prevent all the "illegal" sites since there are off-shore hosting and all that stuff.

Just recently tried to buy a domain at godaddy with a fake name from a different country (proxy matching the country) and still was found out. Guess they updated the system or something, meaning that it will be a lot harder to use fake names which of course means that you might have to use real name buying domain names for adult or sites that don't own the content.
