I will never forget you, Carolyn

Today is my saddest day on the planet.

Carolyn is a very nice woman from California. We met years ago. We could chat or vent about anything for hours.

She always claimed, she was in love with me. And in the parallel universe, if our conditions were good and if we were closer, I would be the father of her 2 little daughters, she said.

She always supported me, cared about me, mentally and even financially even in my hardest times. She was a very special person to me.

And now I got the worst news in the world. She is cancer and it is terminal. She was in the hospital for weeks. I knew something was wrong. Doctors say a few weeks left at most... She is only 33 years old.

I never felt this bad in my life. I could hardly breathe now. Her life story is so hard and painful. And my story is so hard too. She knew and always supported me. Always valued me so much. She was a true friend to me.

This was a very shocking news for me all of a sudden. Why do I always have to get bad news in life. Now she says, it is time to say goodbye.

I know everything about her for years. We met irl. She is the one who always sent money in my hardest times, and did a million favors in my life. She never wanted anything from me. I liked her as a friend. Since my life is messy, I didn't want to start any romantic relationship. Her daughters love me also. This is not a random online thing. And I see her reports now.

So sorry to hear the story, but also it's very nice to have someone like this in your life. Some things never die.
People in her stage should try to be radically experimental IMO, as they have nothing to lose. I heard about many stories where people used to cure advanced cancer with water fasting, because cancer needs sugar. One guy even claims he got the same result with the carnivore diet (1 stake a day and nothing else).

There are also people claiming to survive cancer with various experimental non-invasive treatments, like bringing their PH levels above 7 (supposedly that's the value where cancer can't survive) and so on. Science is a nice thing, but often it is extremely slow in adopting something which is "hard to prove", they usually need to kill a zillion mice to adopt something very simple. So what's there to lose with alternative non-invasive treatments?

Never accepted anything from anyone in my life. We have a very long distance in our daily lives, in my hardest times she helped me financially, insisted so much to help for a few times for the sake of years. It is not about the money. If you read my life story, I was even in the streets because of my health issues, constant physical pain and past bullies. You talk like I was getting anything from her for a million times, this only happened for a few times. I didn't even want any debt from any close friend. And I never forgot about her spiritual support.

What you described is a true pain that cuts right through the heart.
When you lose someone so close, especially a person who was always there for you and supported you in everything, it feels like a part of you itself is breaking.
This feeling is like a fog that surrounds everything nothing brings joy, even familiar things seem empty.
Allow yourself to cry, allow yourself to be weak it doesn’t make you any less, it shows your humanity.
