When you write a book ill be the first in line to buy it.genius!
And that's the truth. You really do have control over your own destiny, and the 1st step towards achieving that control it taking responsibility for the consequences of your own mistakes, and failing to hold someone else to that standard is disrespectful, and helps to ensure that the situation will be repeated.
You come off as overly opinionated and hyper aggressive for no reason. I'm sure OP realizes they made a mistake but why you feel the need to demean them with walls of text is beyond me. Its unfortunate because you sometimes have merit in your posts but ruin any chance of being taken seriously when your posts are filled with rants and self righteous nonsense. We get it, you really like your rants but sometimes they're not appropriate.
I wonder why some people, including you, perceive Nigel as "overly opinionated and hyper aggressive" spewing 'rants and self righteous nonsense' and other people, including me, perceive him as stating facts rather concisely?
Just wondering what causes the difference in perceptions, that's all...
And, PM me if you have a reply, lest we hijack this thread any further!
As I stated in my response, his posts aren't exclusively overly opinionated and hyper aggressive. You can still be right but overly opinionated and hyper aggressive in the same post. He actually makes really good points that I agree with completely in multiple posts. Its the way in which you convey what you're trying to say. Its not hard to read the posts in this thread to see what I'm talking about. Being abrasive and rude doesn't help get your point across, that's all I'm trying to say.
So who do you think is wrong in this situation?
I beg to differ. Funniest post in the history of ever. http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...e/561272-pro-tip-sun-bathers.html#post5521137
Parading our own brilliance and exulting in other people's errors is not very nice. For that matter, even wanting to parade our own brilliance and exult in other people's errors is not very nice, although it is certainly very human. a quote borrowed from ~ Kathryn Schulz
