I was fired yesterday!

there is lots of info on here to get those bills paid. just stick around and keep reading. dont be afraid to try new things.

I never got fired... I wish I would from the job I have now. I hate it but it's a little bit hard sine it's my own company and since it's making pretty good money. :(

Still. Good luck and I hope you more then tripple your income. I just wish I could make enough on IM to make a full time living from it. Then I would defineatly drop my company. ... I'm working on that... ;)

A0rta I'm in the same boat as you. Worked 7 years in my family's company. Making good money, and getting year end dividends. Trying to slowly outsource the majority of my tasks, so I can really use the skills I learn from here, to expand on the business. (open up more sites, become an angel investor)

well if you aren't disabled or have a true reason for being unemployed, you should probably start looking for a new job...
don't take advantage of the taxpayers money when you're perfectly capable.. and hey, who knows when the day will come where you can't work anymore and then you might wish you had when you were able..?
well good luck to you!
:)

yea..no doubt dude. Its time to step over to the dark side and get your $$$

I won't live off unemployment for long. Once I start bringing in money I will end up being responsible for paying back any cash I get from the government. Plus, I am one of those taxpayers that has been paying into the system for 15 years.

went through somewhat the same situation just last week. There is a silver lining and I am sure you'll find it. This place, as you already seem to know, is a great avenue to begin and continue with. Good luck my friend.

I wish the Best of Luck Da Buck, I'm sooooo sorry to hear that :( If there's anything I can do to help let me know :-) We gotta stick together in these tough times!!

Best of luck to ya ,I lost mine to I was doing security for (hehe) the IRS during tax season that came to a end :( pay suxed anyway lol. may we will both reap the rewards awaiting us ;)

Holy crap dude! Find another dealer!

I was selling about 15-25 cars a month at a 300 a month dealer and made well over 10k

That was pretty common 2 years ago. The market in this area has dropped horribly. We have a GM plant that is closing and a Chrysler plant that has shut down. It's hard to sell cars to people without jobs.

Dont sell domestic cars, try Toyota. I never found a FICO below 650, well now keep in mind I live in Bellevue WA. We have some good credit up here.

damn dude tht sux.

I just lost my job at capital 1 due to the credit crunch - but these things are sent to test us.

Keep ya chin up and turn this into a posative, then u will find new success somewhere!

Good luck dude. Just keep working at it and you'll find yourself acheiving success with this internet marketing stuff.

with your experience and most likely having contacts in the car sales arena, I would look into doing ebay car listings for dealers. Can make decent money once you get the hang of it. 50-75 per listing. There was a half decent ebook about ebay autos floating around this forum somewhere, may want to do a search for it. Good luck and hang in there.

Good luck bro.
Check out your unemployment benefits close, you may be able to work part time and still collect some unemployment to strech it out longer. That is what I did when I got laid off from programming.

If streched out, it might by you enough time to give BH a good run.

Plus stuffing commissions. ;)

The credit situation in Wa must be a lot better than here. Less than 10% of our customers had a 650 or higher. Most were 580 or lower.

Good luck! You will need it.
I am a computer programmer.
Due to the ousourcing our industry is shrinking as well.
For the last 10 years I have been fired twice as well.

Funny how it goes when I have a job I am always looking a way to open up a business. As soon as I loose a job, which is perfect opprortunity to open up a business, I always go and find another job.

We, humans, like to do what's familiar and comfortable.
Unfortunately that is not the best thing most of the time.

Make your decision and let us know.

dude you never know may be GOD give u change to get bigger fruit than previous..
