i wanted to start my amazon affiliated site, but first i wanted to know how much i can i earn .i make my calculation.if any body wanted to help me that my calculation was right or not.those all ready selling amazon affiliated item.

say i sell $100 amazon item .
and i get 2000 pm traffic
and as i found amazon conversion is very low 1-2% .. say i get 1.5 % total 30 sell
so my commission will be $100*30= $3000 and i will get 6% commission.
so i will be earn $180 PM yearly $2160
if conversion is 0.50 then commission will be $60 and yearly $720

i just wanted to know my earning calculation was right or not. before investing any money i just wanted to know my return on investment.
just like business man

... because i not found any earning data about amazon affiliated.
pl advice my calculation was right.

Conversation will depend on the types of visitors your site will get. If you can prepare a list of buyer keywords and rank for them, you will earn more than what you calculated.

OP! Your calculation is Right though! Posting Quality contents that are useful to the readers and solve their problems (When you're selling products, you are getting commission for solving problems of your customers, not for selling products) Think about your patrons, what they are looking for, what are their problems and how to get rid from it..! Your conversion definitely goes up!

You'll usually make between 50$ and 200$ per 1000 uniques. If you have a good converting site, the rest depends on the niche as well. So 2000 uniques per month, best bet would be somewhere between 100$-400$.

There is no hard data, because every niche is different. But that's what i average across various amazon affiliate sites that i own. You can check out my free guide here on bhw as well, many other people found it useful.

This can be a typical calculation but it can very a lot depending upon what type of traffic you bring to that site. For example, you lunch a season product site and you bring totally relevant traffic to that site, you can bang a lots of money.

Well, depends. Your calculations may be right but 2000 visitors to Amazon means you need to have ~10000 visitors (~20% CTR to Amazon avarage, if you`re good in converting you may end up to ~40%). Plus you never know how many other (random) items people will buy which will generate extra income for you. There are so many factors to consider like choosing right niche, creating converting site, driving traffic and many other things. Cheers

I wish internet marketing would run on such calculations.

Only one thing count and that is trial and error method.

People are earning money through amazon and I think that is the
enough reason to invest money.

Here key factor will be picking right product with the right keywords
and right marketing strategy (SEO + PPC)

For me, I typically convert at 4% for traffic sent to Amazon when coming from a related page and just not a generic ad. These are products in the $50-200 range. So typically with 1000 visitors to your site, you should expect that 25% click through to Amazon and then 4% convert when your site is optimized. So 250 Clicks to Amazon with 4% conversion is 10 sales. 10 sales on a $50 product is $40 in commissions.

**Note I am probably not the typical affiliate. I did over 1 million in sales last year for Amazon.

Thanks a lot for great tips of suggestion. its really great your guys are try to help me.and good thing is i already make my 2 website just buy domain etc.

i learn lots so few... but i have 2 more Q

1. what kind of themes I used. I learn ready themes. but its look like i am selling item. i need so other themes. i just wanted to know top guys used which themes.
2. I find 1 main keyword and 5 secondary keyword for start. and i make one 1 article and 5 reviews. but here i am confused how i used my keyword. i need to used my main keyword all of my reviews or only i main article . and how i used my secondary keyword in my reviews.

I personally like the Amazon Afiliate program, but it needs effort (not that I'm complaining).

I just wanted to ask how big the investment should be, to start getting revenue.

There's a lot of guides in the forum that will help you out (and me eventually)

As mentioned above, the best part of Amazon is the 24 hours cookie that gets placed after someone clicks on your affiliate link.
You could refer them to a $100 product and they would not purchase it at first.
The next day they go to work and a co-worker tells them to buy product xyz which costs $250 instead of $100.
So the very same user who was on your site yesterday, goes to amazon and buys that $250 product instead and you receive the comissions. Ain't that great?

The conversion rates differs. Some niches converts more than others. for some, i get about 10% conversion and some niche where i rank 2, i get 1-3% conversion.
So stop calculating and start working. The internet don't work that way IMO.

Yes now my first amazon affiliated site was live. Your suggestion is very much welcome about my site

yes sir i stop calculating.. and start my work.. and yes my first website is live now.. your reviews about my site is welcome.

Iam also doing review sites. This is some of my feedback which i have learn while doing the site. Add more products in review minimum 10 and 10 articles relate to LSI keyword and do interlink to the products . Some part of the content looks like SPUN. Add a compare table in homepage add nofollow link to common keywords and do lot of interlink.

You need strong BL profile since KW is competitive. Make a plan how to make BL which is very import part of ranking

Rule number: please remove your site url from this post and from bhw!
