Holy lord I thought you were kidding, those prices are insane. I pay 6x that for 1/10th the speed, and I'm locked in to my provider, ugh.

You should try to change ip's on which internet speed in running of and clear the dns data from your computer for once can make your internet speed better in your desktop. If you know how to do this then very well if not then press windows+R >> cmd >> ipconfig/flushdns, try it for twice or thrice and exit.

lol I pay $60 for 50mbps - and get about 30 usually. Not sure if you're located in the US, but it sure is awesome here! Although there are plenty of other perks so I really can't complain, but it would be nice to have decent internet at a decent price, and multiple providers to choose from (competition is always nice).

How you guys even live with that internet conection speed?
How is achieving such a download speed even possible? My "actual" download speeds are between 9-12 Mbps.

Not sure what you are talking about. The software tweaks network settings so should make things faster, you can reset the settings in the program if it doesn't work for you. It has no malware.

TCP Optimizer is definitely a legit tool, and Asif wouldn't post malware - he's a very respected member of the community (they don't exactly hand out Executive VIP badges). I've used it before and can vouch that it does indeed help - and if it doesn't help you, you can restore with minimal effort. Not a very good way to thank someone for trying to help you, @txholdem, and for providing a decent free tool to try out.
i did it because i've seen his name quite a few times.
after running it and rebooting, my history was wiped clean. how do i recover that? i was able to change the home page, and search engine back. there is likely no real damage i guess.
a similar thing happened to combofix. i searched and installed it "for windows 10" without paying attention. had to spend 30 minutes to restore all the changes and clean all the malwares. looks like some "reputed" companies are desperate to make money and try to cash out on their established reputation.

Well this is something normal in Romania, i think we have the best or the fastest internet in Europe. I pay about 9 euro's for the speed.
