Holy lord I thought you were kidding, those prices are insane. I pay 6x that for 1/10th the speed, and I'm locked in to my provider, ugh.10 euros/month this is the price for this type of internet in Romania

If you're on this plan, that's like $9/mo here, sheesh - http://www.rcs-rds.ro/internet-digi-net/fiberlink?t=internet-fix&pachet=digi_net_fiberlink_1000
You should try to change ip's on which internet speed in running of and clear the dns data from your computer for once can make your internet speed better in your desktop. If you know how to do this then very well if not then press windows+R >> cmd >> ipconfig/flushdns, try it for twice or thrice and exit.
lol I pay $60 for 50mbps - and get about 30 usually. Not sure if you're located in the US, but it sure is awesome here! Although there are plenty of other perks so I really can't complain, but it would be nice to have decent internet at a decent price, and multiple providers to choose from (competition is always nice).it turns out that i am paying $55/mon for up tp 25Mbps. if i pay $150/mon, i will be getting up to 150Mbps which will be about 1/10 of
lorentzo's speed!
How you guys even live with that internet conection speed?

i suspected its just another malware... wipe clean my history, changed my search engine, lower my speed.
thanks alot.
TCP Optimizer is definitely a legit tool, and Asif wouldn't post malware - he's a very respected member of the community (they don't exactly hand out Executive VIP badges). I've used it before and can vouch that it does indeed help - and if it doesn't help you, you can restore with minimal effort. Not a very good way to thank someone for trying to help you, @txholdem, and for providing a decent free tool to try out.Not sure what you are talking about. The software tweaks network settings so should make things faster, you can reset the settings in the program if it doesn't work for you. It has no malware.

How is achieving such a download speed even possible? My "actual" download speeds are between 9-12 Mbps.
