I want to ditch PayPal. Need help.

I wish everybody/seller will start using to 2co, am from an 'international' country and i can't use paypal, even though i have payoneer debit and my local mastercard, but with 2co, i can pay swiftly.OP, i hope you integrate it. P.S. My country is blacklisted from paypal.

I prefer eJunkie because they are not just friendly to the sellers, but also for the affiliates.

But they require a seller's PayPal account as well.

So currently, I confused with:

Plimus
2CO
Avangate (do they require PayPal account?)

As an regular buyer of SEO tools/services/internet products/etc, I'd say avoid Plimus.

It doesn't matter how many fucking times I've purchased through Plimus I'll have a problem about 50% of the time. As you mentioned, they perform "manual reviews" of each purchase from a buyer. My credit card information matches, everything is correct, and yet they'll deny the transaction. That means I'll have to call in, try and get someone on the phone, sit on hold, and then have some minimum wage employee determine whether or not I can buy the product/service at the end of the day.

That's insane. Again, I've been denied the ability to BUY a service/product, even though I've used the same card/info for other services via Plimus. So beware, their system is pretty bad and you'll be losing sales because of their "fraud prevention".

Oscar from Pandanger helped me make a new paypal account. You can have a lot of paypal accounts going at the same time, it's really easy. That's probably the best way.

Have you never heard of Bitcoin? The world's first P2P currency. Google it.

Man you're a hero

In this case Liberty Reserve would be better as it is more useful.
But the problem is no one uses them and you can't link a CC.

how to drop money from LR..can I link my bank acc there?..so that i can withdraw directly to my bank.someone..help me with this

Yep, I too signed up for 2CO and was put into their 7.5% bracket.

To be honest, it feels a bit like a bait and switch setup. I've proven my previous history with PP, and yet the underwriters still put me under the 7.5%. They accept PP as well and will pay via bank wire on a weekly system.

I looked at others but 7.5% seems to be the norm, which is extremely high. There are other merchant accounts, but they require coding knowledge to integrate and likely will put you in the same bracket as 2CO.

Not sure of what business you approached them with, but 2CO charges only 5.5% as standard, and I just checked in my account and I'm being charged only 4.5% per transaction, which is almost on the lines of Paypal. When you consider the much higher conversion rate (assuming you or the OP is not from USA), 2Co beats paypal by miles!

I've never lost a single dollar in chargebacks after moving to 2Co, while I lost over a thousand dollars in fraudulent unauth transactions with paypal. Customer Support is a lotttt better than PP, as these guys are not as big as PP or Authorize.net.

A biggg thumbs up from me for 2checkout

No way. Only through exchahngers with 7+% rate.
That's why everyone uses PP and will continue and never use LR or BTC.

Alright folks.. So I have filled the 2CO application. How much time does it usually actually take for application to be reviewed?

Also, what are the cons of using 2CO other than the high fee and the chargeback issues? I hear they keep x% of balance on hold for 3 months.

Also, currently, I'm staying in India. What options do I have to receive money here?

I've used 2CO quite a lot in the past and the main things I would point out are:

- at first you'll have to put up with manual order verification, meaning that they will call each and every one of your clients to confirm whether they've actually placed the order before "approving" it. If they can't reach the customer then they'll refund them, no matter whether you've already delivered the product/service or not. Luckily, though, they only do this for a week or two, after which orders will start getting processed normally.

- their fraud check is sometimes pretty ridiculous, especially when it comes to digital products that are delivered instantly upon payment. The problem is that the fraud check process takes some time (usually from 10 minutes to a few hours), and often enough 2CO will consider a payment suspicious and refund it. But in case of digital deliveries you'll often have already delivered the product.

- their CS isn't anything to rave about, but luckily their system is relatively good so you don't need to communicate with their CS very often.

I hear they keep x% of balance on hold for 3 months.

Most payment processors and merchant accounts come with a rolling reserve so this is just something you have to put up with no matter which processor you go with. Even PayPal put a lot of accounts on a rolling reserve.
