sort of related but i have received other peoples checks because the network's envelope machine must have got them stuck to mine under the fold on the envelope. i just put it back in the mail box because i am nice. i noticed though that their check was for almost the same amount as mine so they must print them out in monetary order. also i have been over paid about $5k from another network because i changed my bank details and they sent the same payment as the did to my old bank + the new payment. They never said anything to me but i am nice and told them about it and they didnt seem to care that much really, just goes to show that they deal with tons of money all the time.

if they give you trouble later on, just say you get all kind of checks every month and you didn`t notice it was send to you by mistake. you just send it out to your bank along with the other checks you got that month.

Cash it! The possible reasons you got the check are either
- A signup bonus of some sort
- Someone made a mistake on their affiliate link and put yours in while promoting
- They messed up and paid you by mistake
If its for a large amount, I would cash it, and hold on to the money for a while, to make sure the check wasnt cancelled or anything.

I find it highly unlikely that you didn't earn it somehow. More than likely someone signed up under your aff link. But anything's possible. I got a check about 5 years ago for $650 for one week when it should have been $65.
You never mentioned how much it is but if you're talking major money don't forget that you'll receive a 1099 from the network at years end.

You have checked your stats? Someone else may have used your link by mistake. That be the case, you're entitled to the money. If that's the case, you should also search for your link. That way, you can monitor how long you're going to be getting these checks. You might even blow a niche up.
