I only sell household items and furniture such as beds and wardrobes, but my account got banned. What could be the issue, and is there any way to fix it?

How long has your account been created? Are you posting sales content on your personal Facebook profile or in groups? If you just created the account and already started posting on Marketplace, the chance of getting banned is very high. You should warm up the account first before posting.
However, if your account was created a long time ago, I think the ban might be because the account was inactive for too long and then suddenly started posting again, Facebook may see that as suspicious behavior and ban it.
But regardless of the account type, you still need to appeal to Facebook. You might have to verify your identity with a selfie or personal document. Provide all the requested information to Facebook, and there’s a good chance you’ll be able to recover your account.

I understand, But I do love to let you know that sometimes, Once their bot detected any thing with your account that goes against their rules and regulations, they suspend your account or disable it.. But What you can do now if FaceBook Account Recovery, If you do like to get back your account back

is your account new? If so i think you should warm it up first, avoid spamming too much and run it with a small budget before starting to scale more

Facebook’s automated moderation is stupid. They ban accounts for no reason and appeals are sometimes futile. Have more accounts and use good quality ones so you always have a backup in case the worst happens.

in my opinion, the cause isn't the product but the way the advertising content is presented or the behavior of the account. please check again if the content contains violating words, whether the account was properly warmed up and verified before launching campaigns
