Hi guys.

Over the past three weeks, my rankings have been all over the place. Let me be more specific:

Internationally my keyword rankings have been exactly how they should be, apart from the UK - if anything they have improved.

My UK rankings have declined, the keywords are showing different URLs. In some instances, the same keywords have appeared for several different URLS ?? But only in the UK? and the positions are dropping very quickly

I have checked search console - no issues
site speed - no issue
Full site crawl - no issues
no google crawling issues
no rogue robot.text
competitors - nothing new, no shift in their positions.

I am pulling my hair out with this one, any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated

Could just be a dance. What link-building activities did you do during this time/before this movement?

If you can share a google analytics graph of the traffic in the last 6 months and a barracuda check, it would help!

It might be that someone else starts to outrank you!

Try to change the titles of your posts to make them more appealing to click so that you can try to improve the CTR results you see from the console.

@Warrenway It's interesting you ask about the backlink activity. Around two months ago one of our resellers stopped sending traffic to one of our none index white label site (where people could buy our products) and started sending traffic directly to our site. We had an argument in the office about whether this should be no follow link - which i thought it should have been. Needless to say, they allowed this link to be a follow link. This reseller sends a hell of a lot of traffic to our site and has an excellent domain authority (its a very well known travel company) so we thought it would act in our favour.

It could be a just dance. After few weeks, keywords position will be permanent. so don't panic.

If I understand correctly your rankings in UK are down, and in the rest of the world mostly flat or up? In which case this would not really be a dance imho, especially if yoru sire is established?

May I ask where are you located, what is your domain extension, where is your main traffic, is there any difference for you between UK, non UK?

(and I am in the UK by the way, and did not see anything like that)

We are UK based and our core traffic is UK based. Globally our stats are one of two things : up or equal - the rest of our global traffic is fine , if not better . But the UK is a dog's dinner . Keywords dropping and showing for random /incorrect urls. Our domain is .com if that helps. I'v have been keeping my eye on the current algorithm updates but this doesn't feel like an algorithm issue

My first reaction is, as it is a .com, and as .co.uk are more country specific and rank well in the UK, there could be a problem at this level (just a wild guess). If you want to share more details in PM, I could have a closer look.
