Stealth PayPal Linked to Real Account
So I made a stealth account a couple of years ago that recently went negative almost 3k due to a chargeback. I was scammed! In any event. I ditched the account. I had never put any personal info on it.
Now I have an even older merchant account with tons of positive transactions and no negative. I never even had a refund. This account has two of my real banks attached, my social, and my credit card. A couple of days ago, I got an email saying that my account had been limited (with $500 in it!) and I had to resolve disputes with the old account! I couldn't believe it. The only thing that links the two is that I sent three payments from the old account to my real account back in December and I guess that was enough to link the two.
Now here's my question, is it possible for PayPal to hit my credit?! There's no proof that the old account is even mine. All info is different. It's so frustrating. Anyone have any idea what the best thing to do is? I refuse to pay for that chargeback because I was scammed out of the money and a designer handbag! And PayPal never did anything about it!
