I need help starting with PPC

My plan is to begin PPC soon. I have set aside a decent budget for this. I plan on creating three landing pages, around ten ads, and split testing all of them with 200 keywords. I will then continue to trim the fat until I get down to the good keywords, ads, and one landing page.

I am a little confused as to what I should be promoting. Should I create a landing page with a clickbank product, or a CPA offer, or...I'm not sure. That's the part I'm stuck on.

Well Google adwords is VERY strict with the sort of landing pages they accept.

You can not use the lander as an "information funnel" i.e capture leads and you can not use it as a doorway (i.e with the main purpose of sending traffic to another website like CPA offers or CB offers.).

I'd go with CPA and promo via FB or mobile display networks.
 
Yeah, I was leaning towards CPA for now. What is a good network to work with?

Unfortunately, Google adwords is too strict with affiliates, thus they will probably wont allow your lander (with their old saying: "we must keep our users safe, bla bla bla"). I suggest, you go with Facebook advertising and/or Bing ads, both are less stricter than Adwords with regards to affiliate promotion.
 
Thanks for the response. I have read they are a lot stricter. I would hate to run for a whole month then find out my account was banned.

What is a good company for PPC+CPA offers? Do people use Clickbank or are there better ones to use?
 
I am currently promoting CPA offers on FB ads , I get 2 out of 10 ads approved which is not a good ratio but still I am able to reach some good figures.

So, I downloaded Adwords Bootcamp 2012. I think I'm going to start out with Adwords. Go where the money is, right? Now I just need to find something to promote. Can anyone discuss how to create your own offer? Where do you get the product from?
 
Why don't you create a landing page with a real product? Seems like a more viable source of income.

Just so I have it clear... are you going to try and get traffic to your landing page through google adwords?
 
Add website to bing webmaster, after that you will get a coupon. And sign up to bing adcenter, use the coupon there. Cool way to start.
 
Thanks for the tips guys. I know what PPC networks out there. I was wondering more about what to promote. I applied at a few CPA networks. Once I get accepted I'll do some research.
 
You can promote anything. First find a niche your interested in or one that you think can make money or one with buyers. After you have a niche you can find products (physical or digital) and promote. Most do clickbank to start out but to each his own.
 
Why don't you promote Empower Network? I don't know much about ppc and co but am very sure this should be good for you.... I also promote empower network and i make lots of money
 
hey mate, about the ppc i advice you to begin with probux it is one of the best pay per click, and you can make money if you follow a good strategy, i have a good downloadable Guide to read if you are interested pm me , Good luck ;).
