From what I understand you can receive more in commision as affiliate. So if the product for CB has lets say 15% affiliate commision now you can receive more lets say 20 or so .....

You have been added to the affiliates that will benefit of a special commission for that product... for the vendor it may be a means to induce more affiliates to promote his product. Try to check it to see if it's a good offer to promote, and then you will decide.

The sellers increase commission % for the affiliates who bring in more sales. This is to encourage them to get more sales.
