I need help about making a deal on BHW with a freelancer

Hello dear bhw,
i’m a new member in here.
i’ve joined yesterday for the god of sake to get verified on instagram and to find someone who can truley verify my instagram account..
finally i found someone on BHW that will get the job done for me.

But the thing is that the guy is a JR.VIP and in addition his date of join to the BHW is on december 2011 , he have 100% positive feedback 3000 messages+.
the thing that i’m worried about is that he wants 25% upfront payment on payapl (buyer protection) to get me verified and as soon my account have the blue check on IG i will pay him the rest after.

Does it seem legit to go for it ? would love to get some sort of help with this to not fall for a scam.

he’s refusing escrow.
its not about to pay 25 or 50% upfronq.

As support told you, if you are not comfortable doing business with that person use another seller.

I understand him, I would too with a new customer I would charge 100% upfront. Put yourself in the sellers shoes, why should he trust you. Getting paid is the number one focus of freelancing in my mind with new unknown customers.

there’s something called “escrow” which is safe for both of us.
he refused to use escrow , what you mean with “i’m new and should charge 100%”?

Escrow is not 100% safe.

You are a new customer to him, why would he trust you, you might scam him too, and all his work would be done for nothing.

I agree that if you are not comfortable buying from them then choose another seller.

@purepvprun If you wan´t to take that answer as that escrows are 100% safe, good for you. What would I know, I have just been dealing online for the last 29 years, I´m just a newbie.
