You mean you want to display your own ads instead of some ad network's? (Fill your own ad inventory)

If you are using wordpress. Get any of the wordpress Ad widget plugins. They will allow you to create your own banners and insert them on your site.

You can use a banner rotator plugin for WordPress.

One of the best free plugins is Quick AdSense.

It's easy to set up, it's very basic, and it gets the job done.

Don't let the name fool you though.

It doesn't just support AdSense.

It supports pretty much all advertising platforms and affiliate programs.
