I live in Austria, same mentality, also hard to believe that you can manage such score in US also, without having a huge background with advertising and a lot of workers..but hey, lets just increase some Popularity on BHW
Austria is not the same like Germany. You are painting sidewalks xD lol

same in turkey
Did you even consider that Turkey is a Muslim country and they don't even celebrate Christmas?

US is definitely the biggest market for this and I don't doubt what OP is saying for a second.

In the States, they literally go crazy with the lighting setups. Tons of reels on IG people spending $20,000 and more. Same for Halloween.

Dont worry, the germans love that, they are coming in waves to work and live here, maybe not just to admire the sidewalks xD

aydınlatma kurulumlarıyla tam anlamıyla çıldırıyorlar. Tonlarca makara hakkında 20.000 $ ve daha fazlasını harcayan IG kullanıcıları

It doesn't need to be Sharia.

A vast majority of the population are Muslims. It's common sense that running a Christmas lights business is not going to work well there.

Islam is the largest religion in Turkey according to the state, with 99.8% of the population being initially registered by the state as a Muslim.

So yeah... That 0.2 % of the population won't cut it I'm afraid :D

I live in Turkey, there is no such thing. Do not lie :)

This image is from States I can assume?

As I said, they want bigger and better all the time :D this business is definitely booming there if you can offer features like on your photo. This shit costs a lot and to be honest that's mediocre compared to how crazy some people go with this.

Yes, it's the USA

Here is Poland

but I can tell you, that people are buying lights on local market, aliexpress and they are doing themself here.
People are not ordering for such huge cash. So maybe this business is good in Germany/Austria/Switzerland, but in Poland/Czech Republic/Slovakia it's DIY :)

Well obviously, as the wages are lower and people don't have the funds to throw at nonsense.

Halloween decorations are crazier than these Christmas lights by all means as they spend thousands of dollars to keep the thing up for a day or two once a year, but these Christmas decorations go for the entire December-January.

Good idea. But, as a money maker, it may not work in the US, as in the US, the people are a lot DIY (do it yourself) by nature. In the US, they prefer making or repairing things themselves, especially in their homes.
This is not true. It may apply to some areas but that is not the general overview of people in US. Where else can you make money doing things for other people than in US?

The OPs gave an interesting way to make money and you are bring negativity to it in other to discourage people.

Wish I was a US citizen. You can make money easily if you live in the states lol

75k? Whats the netw for the "cables" and job to get one house installed for example? An how much do you get for one house in total?

No doubt the US market is the best for a thing like that..
Plus in festive times like Christmas, there is a huge demand and short supply, which is why i think peoples pays crazy amounts of $ for such gigs.

Yep, that`s totally right, mate

I think what we should take from this thread is that people will pay money for stupid shit to show off to other people, and pay money because they are lazy

This thread has actually inspired me tbf
