SEO Quake Add On for Firefox or IE....Can check PR, BackLinks for Domain and pages and soooo much more.

If you got a link put up on a site....it may be sitewide (put on everypage on that site)...the reason why its showing up in 100's is because Big G is slowly following certain links and finding your link on that site. Same could go for a comment you put up

Some blogs have top commentors widgets, which will put your name as a link with the website you filled in on the comment form. If you are top commentor, the widget gives you a link on every single page on the blog.

Just out of curiosity, when I post comment on pages with top commentator widgets, if i stay on all the post pages for a week, say 1000 posts, then will I have a quick boost in SERPS? and find myself without any backlinks again after my backlink is gone? or will it stick in the SERPS for a bit longer..
