Here in Toronto, the average cost of living is $2,608 USD for a single person and $5,953 USD for a family. These averages hold if you live in most parts of Ontario, British Columbia, or Quebec, though it may be slightly cheaper in Alberta (not for long) and definitely cheaper in the other provinces.
oh. Wow, that’s pretty steep! Toronto and the big provinces are definitely pricey. Alberta’s cheaper for now, but it looks like that might change too.

It's going to heavily depend on where you visit. Where most people live it will be warm to fairly hot. Here in Toronto the average temperature this summer was around 25°C (77°F). We normally get a heatwave or two where the temperature will be around 30°C plus humidity. The only time I'd avoid visiting would be the dead of winter (January, February, early March).

Yea you should be able to handle that, just most people come from warm climates, so for them it's a shock.
