its about time man sick of all the fake reviewers, why they couldnt have done this long ago
 
Read that the other day, staggered too at how people make money from doing the review then sell the product and make a second profit.

I always wonder when I search Amazon.

Are there literally thousands and thousands of people that leave reviews for the same products? I have never reviewed a product and have no desire to do it. There can't be like 20K people that love this toilet bowl cleaner this much that they absolutely have to give it 5 stars. No way.

Conclusion in my mind: more like 75% of all reviews are fake.

20k reviews is nothing. I think this message is aimed at customers to make them believe the platform is now more “secure”, but sellers as well as review providers know that this is nothing.
 
This depends on how amz weighting the stores. If they change a new way to weight, then no more fake reviewers
 
How do they determine these fake reviews exactly? Datacenter IP's? Text Patterns? What if they removed legit reviews.
