I have no friends in this life :( Im so bored :(

The point is simple: Do you wanna a friend OR do you wanna buy one?


When I mean ? ?Do you wanna afriend?, I mean a real friend, someone that you can trust,reliable. And when I mean, ? ?do you wanna buy one?? I really mean BUY one friend or friends. Yeah, this is possible


To have a real buddy, it takes time, it isn't overnight. Any kind of relationship requires dedication, otherwise the relationship will freeze out. You've gotta decide if you're in a mood to dedicate yourself for someone. Actually, this type of decision will come naturally, when you find someone that you like, that has similarities to you, then, automatically, he or she will become your friend.


Honestly, I think that it is much more possible to find a friend, nowadays, thru the Internet than going out to some physical place in the real world. World has changed and much of the people that have similarities to you, are online, some where.


I don't know, if you have watched this movie: 'I love you, man'(I can't put the link here, but you can google it),already. If you haven't. You should, this movie is awesome and is a great inspiration for anyone that is seeking for a real friend.


I never had a real friend, a buddy, a brother. This seems to be the hardest thing for anyone in life, I guess, and I am not alone in this thought.


A real friend is really hard to find, this type of person is someone that you're going to take for the rest of your like, that you're going to share secrets and everything else.That's why it is hard to find, you have to search carefully, for one match your similarities.


That's why I never had one. If I cant find someone to trust, someone reliable, ? better off alone, that's my thought. Doesn't worth spend time with someone that has nothing to do with you. I am not closed to any future friendship, but I think that the older you get the hardest it becomes to find one (I'm not anancient, lol, there are friends for all ages). But we never know, the future is a big surprise for us all.


Meanwhile, I dedicate myself to my goals, nothing better than that.


And related to buy one... I'm sure you know what I mean with that. If you want a bunch of parasites around you just because your money... that's okay, too. But you gotta know,? they are your friends just for the money, nothing more. They won't care if you get happy or sad, they won't say nothing to support you when you get down. You can't count on them for nothing when you run out of money.


If you can't have someone reliable to count on. You better off alone.

It's funny because it's true. At least where I live, everyone thinks in their minds "why the f- is this random guy talking with me" and try to dodge out of the situation asap.

Except with alcohol, I guess there's a reason why it's consumed like water around here.

Here are my two cents.

I am in similar situation where I have friends which are now earning more than me and consider my low earnings as a sign of looking down on me. I don't need them anymore but in my city i don't have anymore left because most of the good ones left the city for work and now only people left are the one which hardly developed relations with me overtime.

I can tell you that like most of the people said, it is indeed hard to develop relations later in life. Which part makes later? any age. seriously. it depends on your surrounding and the limitations. I am 28 and lost 99% of the social relations. I used to get hourly phones and call for help but all is gone just beccause i earn less compred to others.

I also struggle like you. I think socilizing has it's pros and cons, for example, IM demands us to be very competitive and progressive. If you lost social contacts then you may come across among negative people who lost their motivations of making it hard and big. In such case, keep a distance from such people and socialize on limited time or hours. Avoid too much personal information sharing and just socilalize on hobby terms.

I know it is hard but I am working on it with whatever time i have got. I suggest you can do the same. Start to look for online meetups in your city. Do arrange meetups based on totally unrelated things like linux stuff or hobby stuff. You will get few friends.

In any case, avoid calling old friends or people who look down on you. Why? You'll only get into the negative spiral with such people and you will feel bad about past. In any case avoid people who digg your past. That's the best you can do.

Already with 100usd day, i would Travel Around and Have Good life without friends
Would you tell me your secert to make 100usd day ?
if i could make it, i would really have a Better life although i have made alot in passed but not Now.

We all have our share of bad times, and it's obvious that we learn tons of things. I like to share my experiences such that others don't commit the same mistakes and enjoy life to the fullest.

Edit: I read few posts sometime back wherein some guys have branding this thread as fake. Let me tell you, I don't care whether it is fake or not, in fact I am glad that OP posted such a thread because it brought a plethora of optimistic posts from fellow members. In case, some other member who is facing similar situation, then this thread would definitely lift him up. We all are busy deciding what's wrong and what's right but in this fight we forget the core purpose and the message. We have delivered a message guys that there is life even without real friends because we can always make new friends.
So Cheer up guys. Be Optimistic because that is only way to survive in IM . Pessimism and Cynicism don't belong to IM industry.

Really? Really? The kind people who have responded may have helped, is this where people can seek comfort by reading spun comments that are not sincere, if I was actually in his position and I see the reply's to my post being spun articles that would make me feel worse knowing that people are trying to take advantage of my situation for their own gain, to increase their rep, number of posts or whatever the gain might be.
I do think there are some well thought out reply's and those people have been punked just like me.

Thinking about it, this thread to me is like when you were a kid and you find out Santa Claus isnt real but all the grown up are telling you that he is still real and you should believe what they are saying.
Or to a lesser extent, when you are watching the WWE Wrestling (WWF in my time) and you find out that it is all fake.
This is how I am feeling right now, and not just with the OP but the reply's from some of the ppl that have been on for a while with massive reps (the grown ups) saying it doesnt matter if this is fake everyone believe that you are doing good and reply, big up the post and increase everyones rank.

Feeling deflated now about IM

I am Johnny Positive normally, but you dont need to work for CSI to see the inconsitancies in this thread and the inherent connection between some posters.
So are you telling me to believe?
If you had to tell me what is the most believable.
1. Santa Claus exists
2. WWE wrestling is real

Hey here the my point for you.If you are afraid to talk with friends in face to face just find socialnetwork sites and make good relationship with them.Then you can get more experiences and live with real life

And don't be a silent man.Try to make new thing or make laugh your friends.Then you will be attractive person.

Go to a concert, bars, clubs, restaurants. Find a hobby outside of IM and find individuals who are like minded and you enjoy spending your time with. I've found that people who have accomplished a lot hold me to a higher standard and I am more motivated to accomplish more things and collaborate with these intelligent individuals.

Spending an hour of your time on something that could transpire to be accurate is not a wasted hour in this circumstance.
Feeling you have lost an hour and are angry about it is exactly the mindset that creates people to feel isolated in the first place.
A good use of your time in my opinion and even if it does not benefit the OP you can reassure yourself that you did the best you could by someone who appeared to be down on their luck and along the way others may have benefited from the time you gave.
Whatever you do, do not feel cheated by it. If presented with the circumstance again, embrace it and do all you can to help.
