i have a very angry client - need seo advice from a pro fast! (please)

client has 300+ hand written pages, 5 year domain. doesnt rank or have authority. they use yoast on everything. client very angry it doesnt rank and stupid, simple sites that have been around months crush them!

need some fast solutions to boost them.

i was thinking do seo audit on 5 main competitors sites, find their KW, links and copy. maybe buy some pbn's..

can anyone suggest tools, sites to help with above. dont mind paying.

Maybe its their domain? All unique content for sure? How is their onpage seo?
 
To clarify: they hired you to do SEO but you don't know how to, or are you providing them some tkher service and they're just generally angry about SEO?

Quality PBNs + Diversity is the best and fastest way. Keep in mind SEO isn't instant and will take time, no matter how angry the client is, as "Fast" and "SEO" don't really go with one another.

Don't kill their site with low quality links. If you don't know what you're doing, refund, apologies and move on.

Having 300 written pages could really mean nothing if the KWs are not been targeted/optimized. I would want you to make an audit on your website first to fix all the issues you having. Your competitors could be doing something better ( Better Content / Better PBN ) ....

Post a thread in the Hire a Freelancer subforum and have a pro handle this for your family.

You won't be able to fix the situation on the fly and a professional SEO will know what to do and should be able to handle any communication necessary for your family member/client as well.

In short, step out of the situation and bring in someone else.
 
Are those 300 pages good interlinked with eachother? How is the structure? Here you can make some fast wins. If you build some quality links aside it's a matter of weeks and for some keywords days.

Try to look at long tails for the better articles as well.
 
anyone who just wants to bitch, pls get a life and do something else with your time, as your comments will be ignored. anyone who can suggest help/solutions, feel free. been positive takes the same energy as been negative. one will help, one will not.
 
haha this thread is a good laugh.

if its optimized with yoast and the content is unique you should just do basic link building. go to the marketplace and pm some sellers.

My best bet is that there is something wrong with the domain, quite sure it has some penalty on it or something.
And based on this story I wouldn't be that surprised about that either...Perhaps they have a history of asking "amateurs " to fix the SEO on the site, which caused this mess in the first place!

So first it is a "client". Then it is your family?

Maybe it is just me. But if I was helping my family with a task, I would not refer to them as "clients". I think you have just backtracked, because you have been outed as a SEO pro charlatan.
 
I guess their domain was penalized for something so this is why they have so much trouble with ranking.

Analyze tha backlink profile of the competitors you say that are crushing them, most of the times it is a backlinks issue, use ahref to get the backlink profile or linksspy if you want a complete outreach tool at a cheaper price.

Once you have this, see if you can interlink your content and use xenu to make an onsite audit.

nothing wrong with domain what so ever.
they have never done seo or backlinks ever! all natural. NEEDS A SEO ROCKET BOOST
