Okay, to most of you guys this IM game is your living, for me its beer money and a bit of fun. As such, I don't mind helping people out where I can.

At the start of my stay here, I used to bitch at people who picked on newbies saying that we should help people like that out, today my opinion has been changed by another newbie who wants me to spoonfeed him one end and then wipe his ass the other.

The person in question is: chris0147

He PM'd me asking for help on proxies, so I thought I would give some hints and forums to go look at to buy a VPS to install squid on. I wasn't going to give him everything in a step by step way as I think learning as you go along is important, you take more on board and educate yourself.

However, chris0147 doesn't seem to think thats the best way for him - have a read of the PMs, ending in todays little rant at me to answer his 'fucking' questions:

Install Squid on them all and then set up rules to push through the different IP addresses you have on each VPS.
Its not the easiest to set up but once its done its a breeze to use.

Then to make it private, make it ask for password or lock to your IP address and set it on a different port.

A bit off topic, but I've seen this a few times in the last two days in various threads. Why is it that anyone not making money online, automatically is only qualified and must work at walmart (McDonalds is another popular one).

First of all fatboy he is just a dumbass there. You literally gave him 2 wonderful piece of information where he can start from. Webhostingtalk is for me the number one or only spot i go whenever i need hosting or vps, tons of dals there. I trotally recommend for anyone to look for deals there especially vps, i remember my first vps (linux) i got it for 5.95 (1 gb ram, i forgot the the hdd). Squid is probably one of the easiest way i know how to install your own proxy server on a vps or dedictaed server. Based on the questions he is asking it seems he is really stupid and has no knowledge of IM and the internet. For all of you guys who think proxies are private, LOL YOU ARE WRONG!. i WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU CHECK YOUR HTTP HEADERS.
