400% increase in suicide rates among young women says a lot. Social media probably has a higher death ratio than cigarettes.

Many of them have no consciousness about how to use social media or even their smartphone. Especially in asian countries you can see people using their phone all day long. This is George Orwell - Brave New World. The people are so much into the social media, their phones etc. that there is a huge lethargy.

I don't think this situation will get better. Just wait 20 more years, then these people will become adult and raise children by themselves. You can already see many parents these days keep playing their phone, "parking" their children in front of the phone.

I don't wanna sound too negative, but here is what I think: The humans don't have the intellect to use the technology. They can not handle it. Its like you give $100 to a children and it won't use it in a responsible way. It will just buy chocolate or toys. Now we are in the same situation, just with adults.

Like every time I am in China I am so shocked. The people literally sit next to each, don't say a single word and keep playing stupid games on their phone. A couple goes to the restaurant, wearing headphones and watching series or playing games, they don't even look at each other. You can say whatever you want, but we have to deal with a "disabled" and lethargic society.
