I agree with you, but at the same time, myself and millions of teens from my generation tuned in weekly to watch the Jackass crew get high on every drug known to man and fuck their bodies up for our entertainment, so I can't judge. We used to do the very same thing with our own stunts the very next day in school, but didn't have smartphones or social media to record all the dumb shit we did back then. The generation before us used to tell us how dumb it was, but that's what we were into as kids. Kids will be kids.

The problems is that most of the “users” of internet, are not aware about the related risk of what they do.
Well, most of us we are marketer: I realize when I see some advertise in some Porn site, I know there’s some
black hatter like me behind, so I know what I see is just for attract some poor person with some mental sickness, or when I read some title, I know it’s all about SEO and ranking, because people are monetizing it.

Most of the parents put their son/daughter on youtube without even knowing what’s behind it (MARKETING). Nowadays there’s an abuse of marketing, advertising, we are surrounded by ADS, and who’s not in the side of Publishing, (so the one who’s making profit over it) will slowly suffer and I’m afraid we are going to destroy this planet. Internet is a dangerous place if you don’t know what Are you doing or what’s behind things.

And talking about TikTok, I started post few days ago some family contents and kids are getting emotionally attached to me. I feel sad and good about that, I talk to them in live video telling them that I’m just an idiot who put his face in front of a camera. Do not exaggerate with compliments or do not get attached by me, because i’m not the person. Love yourself and your family.


It’s time for government to take a look into this problem and start to cooperate with those social media. Or we just need to accept that future is going in a certain way and we can’t stop it, but just remind in what period of life we living (2020).

A lot of people say that it's always been like that. And to some degree they are right. The differences between generations span centuries.
"Kids nowadays..." is a tale as old as time.

BUT today youth really is different. Never in history happened this. Why? Because of technology - a mutation occurred.
Just think about it... with just only one click on a search engine, you can find ALL kind of porn. There is a genre for everything. You can find ALL kinds of violence, beheadings and so on. Just a simple search on Google et voila... These youth nowadays are desensitized as fuck.
Imagine Marquis de Sade wrote books in 18 century about all kinds of sexual perversions like anal sex, BDSM, shit eating and all. Because of his writings, he was imprisoned and declared insane... nowadays anyone can do that or just watch it on the internet like something normal.

And just as easily you can find drugs nowadays indeed, all kids think is cool to take drugs and brag about it online.

Not long ago I've read an article on a mainstream site for parents from my country written by a doctor; she said that her 15 yo daughter already had like 10 boyfriends and is already "in love" with another boy. The article was nothing more than a eulogy for the dictum "open mind".
Because you see, that's the only "virtue" people believe nowadays. That's it. You only need to "have an open mind".
That's how most people live.


We do live in probably the most degenerate period in human history though. People were acting like animals in the past too, but there was a thing called "shame". Or "honor". Believe it or not, most of them didn't have the guts to do shit in public. People were quick to judge. Or even worse.
Nowadays you can be a creepy 50 yo, film yourself facefucking the shit out of an 18 yo girl and put it on the internet for everyone to see. And say "be open mind" - and if you don't agree, "you are stuck in middle age mentality".

Normality in society is what the majority decides.

After all, I don't have a problem with it because I don't care what others do but still is a big regret. Life is so short, and to live like a zombie in a society with which you have nothing in common... it's very rare for me to find people who think like me or see the world the same way - most of the time I get the feeling that I'm the only one on the planet who thinks like this and I feel like I'm an old fuddy-duddy. And I'm only 26 for fuck's sake.
It seems that almost all people are optimists and love the society they live in.

Anyway, I appreciate you opened this topic, I share the opinion of lots of you guys. For me, the hope is I could earn lots of money so I can buy a big house somewhere remote and live like a hermit. It's good that forums like this exists, so we can learn things from each other.

Well, technology is to be blamed for it, everything has its own benefits and side effects too. So, we can't blame our youth either; this is what they've been exposed to since birth!
Instead of criticizing the youth, we should provide them with better platforms for entertainment to engage them in healthy stuff.

I don't think society has got up to how much things have changed since 1980 with technology. A private individual now has access to more information and at faster speeds and the ability to analyze than what entire national intelligence agencies had 40 years ago.

For a government to have as much processing power as what a single Threadripper 3970x has, it would have cost them $63 billion in 1980.
