I'm a dog lover, I don't know why, they are just smarter, funnier and friendlier than cats. And the funniest thing in the hole story is that i live in a neighborhood that has a lot of cats, and no dogs. Some don't have an owner, some have one but he is really lazy and gives the cat a lot of free space.

One of that cats, a brown-white one, is the biggest fucker of them all, really annoying. The little prick comes every night under my window and makes weird sounds, has sex with other cats and so on - really irritating.

And then, it just stopped. Like for a week i don't hear any familiar sounds, just a "squeaky sad" sound every now and then.

And... what... We have a 5 meter place in the middle of the buildings that goes nowhere. You can not get in and you can not get out if you fall in - well.. if you are smaller then a middle sized human. And, guess who i found there:

First it was "HA, YOU LITTLE FUCKER"

And then... blah, i figured out that he had not eaten in days, and with no water to.. so i trowed him some fish and went back to my room to figure a way to get him out.

In my room I found a 10m RGB cabel, and on my terrace a yellow bucket. Tied thous two thingies, put some fish in the bucket and let's go fetch the cat.

1st try
I trowed the bucket to hard, the fish fell out of it, the cat eat it without even smelling the bucket

2nd try
Fuck... no more fish - to the store, got some new fish, again the same scene with the bucket, but this time i did it better, the bucket fell down and it was waiting for the cat... the cat got in by half (not the hole cat, just half of it) grabbed the fish and got out.

3nd try
Again the same method but with little bites of fish... it didn't want it - got already two fishes and it's not more hungry

4nd try
Put some water in the bucket, again the same method, the bucket is down, the cat is in half in and drinks the water... I'm pulling slowly the bucket up, but it grabs it and pulls back down. I try harder, the cat runs back... DAMN.

The next and the last scene

Put some plum gem on the middle of the bucket so that the cat comes and stays. And that happend, she stayed and licked the plum gem.

In the mean time i was trying to catch here butt with the cable so i can pull her but in side the bucket... it took me a few tries.. well, more then few, but after that i got her up.. finally!

After i pulled here up I let her go... the little fucker better does not show anymore under my window.. damn how i hate cats.

I like dogs and cats equally. I appreciated cats even more when I found a giant dead rat on my property and on its neck were two fang marks from an expert death bite from a cat. What's cool about cats is that their behavior from the domestic version to their larger wild brethren really doesn't vary that much!

I hate cats, too. Glad you were able to save that evil kitty!

I love cats.Thanked you for taking the extra effort and thinking out of the box to rescue the kitty.

I had 3 male cats as pets so far. When they reach around 2 or 3 years old ,big male cats in the neighbourhood will kill them away so that few males get to enjoy lot of sexy female cats lol! this is common behavior of all animals in the (scientific) cat family

you did well mate, but i'm not so sure the cat will leave your window alone though.

I've got two cats - love 'em!

Well done for what you did, even though you hate them!

If you hate cats, you should go to Amazon and look up 101 Things To Do With A Dead Cat. It's from the late 1970s or early 1980s but it's hilarious.

Cats are stuck up and they only like you because you feed them and give them a place to live. Dogs are always happy to see you. I have both cat and a dog by the way.

I'm glad you did the right thing and saved it man. I myself love cats, I think they are hilarious.

Even if you're not a fan of cats, it's still another living thing with feelings and emotions and to leave it stuck down there starving and without water woulda been a real shitty thing to do.

Good job on saving it though. Hopefully it doesn't get stuck again.

thanks buddy... i have four cats... had nine at one point... i dont know how many such situation i have been thru. but i love them. my wife says "lucy has you wrapped around her fingers" and its kind of true... she looks at me once with that big green eyes and i am ready to give up everything and do her bidding... same for the other kids (cats - we call them kids) too... but lucy is a princesses of my heart.
