I had a box of vintage estate costume jewelry made up for one of my clients and he picked it up today. He had already seen what was in the box last week but didn't have the $200 that I was charging him so he asked if he could pick it up today. I told him that I put something special in the box just for him. He called me up gushing with excitement and proclaiming his undying love for me. The vintage Rolex watch ended up in the box when I was sorting through other things yesterday. Someone please shoot me.

Make a complain to near cop and say them ur story ... Im sure they can help u or ping me

Can't understand why you would call the cop in this kind of situation.
You have to tell the guy first. Explain the situation. Then you will react accordingly.

Do not use cops when you do not need them...

dont let a bad day make you hate your life... move on i know tought time but leave it on fate

Since you're the one who made the mistake, call the client first and see if you can resolve it on your own. If you can't, maybe try contacting the police.

It was my mistake. I am cursed when it comes to watches. Something always goes haywire. The client thinks that was the something special I put in the box just for him. He was so excited. Money is tight for him. But it's not like it's over flowing for me though. I didn't have the heart to say anything. sigh

Tell your local paper what happened and tell the guy the watch is his but ask if he will allow the reporter to interview him and take some pictures.

By next week you will be swamped with orders for $200 boxes of costume jewellery.

Or say you are doing a lucky dip type promotion where every tenth purchase gets a free gift.
The free gift doesn't have to be expensive but see how many people will turn up hoping for a Rolex.

Just ask for it back and say it was a mistake? If he is a decent person then he will give it back. Offer him a free box as a thank you or something.

If you don't have the balls to do it then why cry about it online.

If you can afford it this is solid advice.

"Local Jeweller gives away rolex". You can get huge PR based off this. Particularly if you play along with it.

I think OP is a female, so your comment is pretty stupid.

OP just explain the whole situation to him, if he is a reasonable person he will understand.

Look at it this way you had a crappy day but he had a great day! It all evens out in the long run.

Just call the Police,CIA,NSA,MI6,YM(your mom) and put a bunch of C4 at this guys door..ruin his life, teach this bastard a lesson, beat him hard.
Don`t forget after this RAGE to take your watch back.

Hope that you liked my silly smart ass joke..Now seriously try to talk with your costumer this kind of things happen from time to time unfortunately. If he won`t give you the watch back try calling the police as you don`t have any other options, but i`m sure that if you`ll make a good talk he will understand..if he`s reasonable(try to act fast..maybe he will try to sell it,be careful).

Just asking, how much is that watch worth? :D

P.S:
I'll do that. After I do a couple of primal screams into a pillow.

This sounds kinki :P

I think you need to reach down, grab hold of your ovaries and call the guy and tell him the situation. No need to ask for it back; he can figure that part out himself.
