Hi - I'm new here as a member but a regular reading the forums since 2014.

Who's a decent domain name provider that doesn't compile with UK laws and them annoying people called "LegitScript".

I've just been turned over by ccihosting; who claims to be independent! (Panama)

Long story short, I have a client who ships generics around the UK and EU, does very well however besides what it is that's actually being sold and to the content on the site, I thought offshore accounts are not meant to correspond and yet to compile then take legal action against your sites hosted with them. Offshore's Laws are the complete opposite of the Laws in another Country such as UK. UK can't sell, Panama you can .. so why did they terminate the subscription of the contracted domain name without further notice???

What's your reviews on this, what would you come back with in regards to redemption of the domain? Keep in mind that the site did not state it was located in UK, in fact within the terms and conditions it actually stated the site and bank are located in China..so how's it possible that can occur?, its like as if the Law is coming down hard on all this FDA regulation rubbish no matter where or what your selling, if not approved they they do their best to try and get you off the net.

Anyway .. probably doesn't concern a lot of blackhat market readers but I just had to get it off my chest to hear a reply. The owner of it nearly shot me! not a nice man, but pays me well.

I do however have one problem when using these unrated no reviewed, so you always wonder if your actually safe or just being plane stupid to let an offshore company see your website and turn over and steal your online business if making millions? You going to go to the police? lol .. I would say 70% of these offshore providers are just broke down firms with no money, located in a stinky town with a nasty attitude who couldn't care less about your living. If you look beyond the website and think of the actual person/people running the hosting companies, their not the most law abiding by citizens are they? I mean, if they ignore court disputes by another country because someone breaking laws in another country and don't act on it...don't that say something there or is that actually how the World still works .. even if its platen that a subscriber is selling stuff in another country but doesn't effect their laws, do they have the right to even respond, can they get in trouble? such as ICANN for allowing such activity to be done.

I'm just blabbering on abit because im just completely p*sed off.

John.

Sorry for you bro, but with some easy googling you would had find out fast, that CCIHosting are scammers since long time.
Google for example "ccihosting scam"

Sorry again.

Gelleta,

The reviews are not that bad to be honest, all moaning the servers are slow and from like 7 years ago, nothing really recent. However my problem was the domain name they took - hosting is minor, if u get shut down you move the backup to another server anywhere so your only down for a day or two. Domain is everything!

Where is a secure place to host domains? I heard tucowsdomains are good, but how do you get your domain with them, there is no "register/transfer".

Money is too big to stop because you've had a knock back, I'm getting back up and getting them rankings back.

You seem a bit all over the place. Of course you have been through a lot but get your head together. I am sure you went with them as a company like Tucows wouldnt take your site for what ever reason.

You need to find an offshore register and an offshore hosting company. preferably separate. But of course do your research first and go for the ones with genuine good reviews.

JohnThomasParton, if you already bank and ship from china why not also keep your domain there? i can recommend wanwang.aliyun.com/domain and cndns.com/cn/domain in particular. the first will "work with you" to keep domains and hosting alive if you can afford a trip down to their offices. that specific office is located in hangzhou

While they have control over their servers, I assume they're reselling domain names, which means they might not have full control over them. It's not them who blocked it but the domain provider from whom they're buying the domain.

That's it in my opinion. The hosting maybe offshore, but the real registrar probably isn't. Even if the registrar is, he's still bound to the ICANN guidelines if it's a domain controlled by ICANN like .com, .net, .org and many others.
