So a couple of days earlier maybe a week or two I made a thread about sorting out my sleeping pattern. Problem is that now that I've managed to sort it out wake up in the morning and go to bed at night I am unable to sit myself down to do anything during the day. Comes 6pm and only then do I feel like I can start doing something productive. Throughout the day I will feel like shit and all I do is walk around wasting time or watching TV. I'm thinking of going back to doing things throughout the night and fortunately that's a possibility for me I'm just worried that I will be disappointing those around me who wake and sleep during normal hours. Life oh life...

Try these setups and check which one works better for you
1. Put everything you waste time with, TV, Music in one room with your workstation
2. Fully isolate your workstations and you in home office

As @agetmant mentioned it can be lack of energy

Go polyphasic, brah. I'm not saying that ridiculous Uberman sleep cycle that can literally kill you with lack of REM sleep. But something like the Everyman 3 would work wonders for your productivity and social ethic. Something like this:

YwdGL

3.5 hours of sleep from like 3am to 6:30am, then three 20 minute naps spread throughout the day. I tried sleep hacking a bit in college and gave this a shot. It worked really well. Like really well. I was still able to get two full sleep cycles in with the longer sleep, and I'd down a shot of espresso before dropping for 20 minutes, and when the alarm hit I would be awake and the caffeine will have hit and I was ready to keep powering through.

I had to stop when it started causing productivity issues in my classes, though. And a road trip totally screwed up things, and I never got back to it. If I was full-time on my own, though, I would 100% do Everyman 3.

weird, for last 4 years i was energetic frpm morning and losing all powers past 4pm. now its more balanced

dont know if it will help u but get f.lux on pc it balances melotonine levels in ur body or some other shyt - basically makes you sleep better despite using screen just before bed

How's your nutrition and exercise?

It takes me a while to prepare a nice meal and to do that 3 times a day with cleaning after each one just seems to drain too much time so I usually get oven food. Sometimes I will season some chicken nuggets / breasts and throw them in the oven too. Exercise is pretty much non existent, I used to jog in the mornings but let that one go as I felt like I was just running in circles. I used to be very physically active in school when I was a kid but that faded with time. I also got into bad habits with smoking and sniffing which completely killed my stamina. I feel weak and tired throughout the day and whenever I do go for a jog I'm dead within 5 minutes if not less than that. I can only run for about 30 seconds to a minute without running out of breath and I'm not even close to being overweight. Hard times my friend.

Windows 10 has that feature built in, I never use it though because it feels like something is missing. I may need to give it another try.

I see.. the issue could also have something to do with your biological clock. Were you always like this ? Tired throughout the day and active during the night?

Maybe not always tired but sleep wise ever since high school for over a good 10 years I'd stay up late and either wake up early or sleep in the morning.

Don't worry, there’s nothing wrong with you. You just need to adjust to your new regime. However, I know how frustrating it is when someone says ‘’be patient’’, so I’ll throw in my two cents.

When I finished college, I was exactly like you. At the time, I didn’t have a job, and since I was living with my girlfriend (who was working) I wasn’t in a hurry to take just any job that came my way. That’s when I started to sleep until 10 AM, and take a nap in the afternoon (just because I could) and basically, I would be useless until 7 PM. Also, I would stay up until 4 AM, which obviously didn’t help, which is why I was so useless until later in the afternoon.

Now, I don’t know your situation, but for me, as soon as I started working, and I knew I had to get up every morning at 5 AM, I practically started falling asleep at 11 PM without having to force myself to do so.

If you’re getting up at 6 AM as you say, you’re already on the right track. If you feel like you’re losing energy in the afternoon, it’s ok to take a break. But, that break shouldn’t last for more than an hour. Try it.

Try setting new pattern for 14-30 days, we are creatures of habit. Your previous pattern was prob for months - year I’m assuming so a few days won’t override your database hehe. But 14-30 consecutive days will. Remember this formula.

The reason I made this thread is because I really want to know what's wrong with me and how to fix it.
Okay, first of all I'm a very quiet person in front family members and people I don't know. I feel so uncomfortable whenever I'm around people.
I can only be myself around my parents and siblings, but whenever I'm around family members or strangers I'm so weird.

Hi,

My brother is facing the same situation. But now he is trying to work hard in the daytime so that he can fall asleep at 10 pm. Instead of sitting idle, watching TV you must work and keep yourself busy. If don't feel like working you can join gym and do workout.

Try setting new pattern with ppl outside your family, I think it’s due to the “prob” million hours of human computer interactions. Introvert/ extrovert doesn’t matter. The screen has a way of numbing our natural God given reasoning in human to human interactions. Think about it... when we use acronyms like, ahaha, lol, etc; to illustrate our emotional response online we don’t actually always “ laugh out loud!” So our pattern of use will override in human to human interactions unless we’ve trained to separate. It’s all about how you spend your time and what your are training your mind and body to do. Wow! Dr me, no no.. hehe, note: I didn’t really say hehe I just typed it but I heard it in my thoughts. Does this help?

Why are you trying to flee from the eden of nocturnals?

I don't know bro, maybe so that I can hang out with people at normal hours but I still don't go out that much.

It could be a low blood pressure problem, i had this, i had this problem too.
Right taking food supplement pills.
It also depends on your country, height where you are living, your body structure and many other factors
