d) The algorithm will do the rest.

That's nice, if you were able to get always views and found the balance, usually you are trying to get as many views from any source and CTR never tried to keep a balance from the sources, thanks for sharing your findings!
 
I think that to grow in an accelerated way on the platform, if you have the means to travel to a little known country, exemples ( Transylvania,Bosnia,Venuatu) places that i would use to record videos,or one that there is a lot of internet research about but little content on YouTube, you could create quality content and then edit that, to publish on YouTube, of course playing by the rules of the platform.

Also consider the fact that your video needs to provide some kind of value, otherwise ultimately your video will drop due to low watch rate and retention.
