I discovered how algorithm work

i don't think so, the algo doesn't care about, likes, dislikes, external views, description, your upload schedual, the length of your videos.... and so on. non of that matters, the only thing that matters is how a video preforms when it's shown to people, and by performance i mean ctr and watch time. and now they added a new feature that asks the user after they watch your video to rate it on how enjoyable it was. that's it. you can upload a 100 videos all at once. and it won't make a difference (FROM THE ALGO PERSPECTIVE).
go to creator insider channel and watch the videos they made about the algorithm.
Making too many could hurt channel, you may get buffed at the start but from time to time if you cant keep up the ratio, algorithm wont suggest your channel anymore => dead channel, better 1 video/day is maximum. length of the video affect entire channel. well i already explained this thoroughly...

Algorithm bite my video again, this is like bite of bite, already bite, but bite again LOL

wow only 5 hours! 30k
EDIT: where are those 700 external comming from?
Community post :D
OMG after a sleep, i already got 97k views
New theory, CTR doesnt matter any more if you can keep CTR around 20%, now the only matter is how many impressions will algorithm spread my video :D it's really the same views ( maybe better ) when i have over 25% CTR

I have the feeling that I'm doing everything right, but not in the right way...

where did you get 6000 external views from?
how much is percentage viewed on your video?
When I upload a video to YouTube, I immediately share it on Reddit.
If you're referring to the retention rate on videos, it's not showing me YouTube yet, if you're referring to the percentage of traffic from External sources, it's 94%.

i think external views don't do anything... the only thing that the algo cares about is how a video preforms when it's recommended to people... just focus on high ctr and retention. and if you haven't read this thread and a the comments you'll find lot of info.

I've read, tried to apply, but most likely - I have crap content :D

Keep it up, sacrifice a few video for external first to get audience, after that you can build your browse feature views.
Btw retention rate from external should be equal to browse feature, higher like that you wont get boost.
I have the same stat like yours, wont get boost because retention rate in external is too high, i have to cut a few part using editor where they leave :)

My problem is that initially when I repost a video on reddit, the recommendations stop showing my videos in principle. So it hangs without being shown on YouTube.

So, Reddit's views would then be regarded a bit as Google ads views = YT's algo thinks: "This video is currently pushed by whatever tf, so let's push something else".
BTW, Ritchee, ho do you post your video on reddit: embed? or YT link as 1st comment ? or 30s extract uploaded as a reddit video ?

I share in a subreddit video as a post with a youtube link.

Does this mean that by reposting my channel on reddit in this way, I've simply killed my channel and if I stop posting my videos to reddit, the channel will die permanently?

Community post is a beast, a beast of all beast, algorithm almost give up my newest video, but the community post hold them back :D
