Hello, thank you for telling me a good way.
I tried 6 videos using PaddyVu's method.
As shown in the picture, the number of views increases for one to two days, but after that, the number of views falls a lot.
Can we rise the view count?
Keep up the good work, don't be sad! Change the titles, the covers.

Hmm... Minecraft?
nope

Great work, that's how it work, keep uploading, the first time i upload i always get 3k views then die immediately but after like 10-20 videos, it start getting lots of views, but make sure your CTR is always 15% and above, if it's below, algorithm may or may NOT buff

That's it ! The engagement that matter is like only, not even share or subcribe, made another troll video, instantly got 3 unsubcribers and views still gain, depend on how new viewers behavior, it will buff/reduce view

@PaddyVu do you think your method for gaining an initial audience, such as posting on Reddit can be done for Youtube Shorts?

No dont, youtube short is trash, audience from youtube short is different from normal video, they only like short, if you give them normal video, they wont watch

Thank you for the great information @PaddyVu . I'm going to test this. In previous I always tried search then suggested view. This time I'll focus on Browse features.
I have only 1 question to you. I never use reddit before. So can I use facebook or instagram instead of reddit because I have 2 facebook groups (1 viral animal related) and 1 insta page. If it does not work, please suggest me any reddit seller.

Let's look deeper into analytics, this is how a viral video look like in the first 10, 20 hours :)

Now there's some fun fact, retention rate that above 95% will be considered cheating :) Everytime a video goes up to 95% retention rate, that video wont do any good, stuck at like 2-3k views LOL
I delete like 7-8 videos that goes too far like that, views always stuck at 2-3k, i will try to lower my retention rate a bit by adding some trash thing that they want to skip.
Remember guys, algorithm is just an AI, they are not human... so it can be gamed. But so do they, your content is too good? "Oh yes look like you are buying views from smm, 95% retention rate but do not receive any likes? i will flag this video as cheating" - algorithm said

Question for you:

I make longer videos around, 8 to 10 minutes each. I've been adding 20 seconds of outdoor footage at the end of them so that after the video ends, they're sat there staring at my subscribe button and two other videos that they could click on.

You said somewhere in this thread that you don't like end screens, do you think I should stop doing this? My thought is that I'll get more views and subscribers by adding this 20 second end screen to my videos.

If you don't like end screens, why?

how long are your videos? what is your recommended video duration based on your experience? If I make videos longer than 8 or 10 mins, retention rate only sits at 15-30%. Youtube picks them up but they mostly only get around 1-3k views from browse and then they slowly die down to like 5-10 search views per hour.

Sth happens with my videos too

But u can go viral with 30% retention too. I had two videos with more than 1m views

That's great work you have done. But your click rate is not high!

I'm a bit late to the game but my gut instinct tells me this is a promising method. To understand it better, I went through the first post and reorganized it for easier digestion.

  • Find popular niche or algo won’t recognize
  • Always aim for browse feature views (do not try to seo)
  • Post vid to a few subreddits relevant to content (gain 50-100 views from external) then stop & delete link.
Algo will boost a vid with 60 organic views plus 100 external AND 8% CTR.

Will NOT boost with 70 organic and 0 external view and 9% CTR.

With 200-300 organic + >10% CTR, algo will boost instantly

Note:

  • Title is your best friend (thumbnail matters 30%). Make a confusing title that people must click on to satisfy themselves. Vid must be relevant to title (don’t SEO title).
  • Example: Do you know this thing can kill you, This is the worst thing in my …
  • Don’t go too long or it will appear as ……
  • CTR is KING (higher priority over retention). Must always be above 15% for browse feature. 6% CTR vs 100% watchtime is worse than 15% CTGR vs 50% watchtime.
  • Aim above 50% watchtime.
Engagement

  • Not too serious, add funny moments
  • Use your other channels and comment on your own video. Make it funny and answerable. People will upvote it and want to interact with that comment. This is key to having high engagement.
  • LIMIT 1 Gmail per comment
  • Limit 5 Gmails per IP
  • Try to watch full video or at least 90% THEN ADD comment to trick algo into thinking comment is legit.
  • 3 funny comments is enough for engagement
Algorithm

  • YT will check your vid every hour, when requirement meet, it will boost your vid for 6 hrs equal to your current CTR then drop to 10% for 18 hours to test your video.
  • If your vid can maintain CTR or go even higher, algo will boost again for another 6 hrs and repeat process.
  • Vids that can maintain >15% CTR while boosting will have at least 100-400k views for entire boost, depending on your retention and put vid to test again for another boost.
Other

Buy a few reddit upvotes (for author, ten is enough), crowd effect will do the rest.

Hope that helps someone

Only thing I don't understand is how to "aim for browse feature views"? Can you intentionally aim for browse feature views? How?
