Yes you got fans now I think and other videos gaining. I think I read a reply from you though that you had started using reddit and SMM at first.
It's not easy though to pass browse feature CTR and maintain, that's going to be the hardest part for people.

I made different channels, the one with SMM panel views was a complete fail but the other channel with 100% whitehat method as described by PaddyVu with external views is my most succesfull channel ever.
What I learned alongside the external views is that if you up your video quality people really gonna appreciate it and interact with content.
Tbh @PaddyVu you are on of the best and I want to say thank you for helping us out, because of you I am able to gain subs on a daily and eventually I can make a living out of this in the future. Appreciate you.

I totally agree. I gave up on all blackhat methods, as producing decent content is 100x better than trying to cheat the system. My latest channel has had 25% CTR consistently, and is seeing great results from browse features. I am getting around 500 views an hour, which for a week old channel is quite good. Just make your content clickable, watchable, and something people want to interact with. Good luck to everyone!

7,5% CTR could still work bro, if retention is high, youtube will keep pushing.
Yeah, it's not worth it. The best way is to just make high quality content and wait a few days and if your content is good, people gonna click and watch and appreciate.

Yeah sadly retention is below 65%, it only push high if i have above 80% rentention only
I have several 10+ million view videos and the CTR will go down as impressions go up. These videos haven't got consistently 10%+ CTR, I think some didn't even need 10% CTR to get ranked and get passive organic traffic.
What I notice is that the successful videos have an higher CTR at the beginning, then the algorithm pushes more impressions, which makes the CTR go down, so there is some weird balance that is reached there. I have never bothered to look at individual CTR% per feature (browser, suggested, etc). The most important is that the video is suggested, suggested = more views coming from new people. Im guessing views from new people are more valued than search views or anything else.
What's f*cking frustrating is that sometimes people only want to watch the same thing on the same subniche. For instance, you do Fortnite videos, but Fortnite videos about X subject, they sub, and they don't want to watch just Fortnite in general, but Fornite AND the same f*cking thing, and at some point they become bored of that too and wouldn't click, so yeah, having subs is a problem unless you are able to raise their interest consistently. You need constantly a new stream of people, which is only achieved by your videos getting suggested and getting new subs.
Also I see people in my niche with shitty thumbnails, half assed content and repetitive titles that aren't very special, and little to no SEO, outranking better stuff on the same niche, so luck is involved, you need to have luck so the algorithm likes your channel and you enter in a good row of uploading videos, getting suggested, uploading video, getting suggested etc.
YT and internet stuff in general is an endless paranoia of thinking that your channel has been downranked because some bad luck combination of algorithm readjustment puts you below other idiots that are doing trashy content and get lucky. This is frustrating when you have a whitehat channel where you work hard on content because you want to have watchtime as high as possible, which also leads to less content being uploaded often. Btw, im not sure how relevant constantly uploading stuff is. You are most likely producing garbage if you upload all the time. Of course, if you can somehow get good CTR with nice watchtime by uploading often, I guess you will get more views, but im also paranoid that if you enter in a spiral of bad performing videos in a row, you will lose organic traffic from already ranking videos. So like I said before, this game is a constant paranoia.
This thread does not offer anything new, but it is useful for noobs I guess. And there are some broad assumptions, like claiming the algorithm resets "every 6 hours" when we don't know.
BTW, im talking about longer 10+ minute videos, not shorts trash. Some different metrics may apply for this garbage I guess. But I don't bother with tiktok tier stuff since it pays really low, at least on tiktok, not sure if the RPM goes lower with shorts on youtube, or the RPM is the same and having a lot of views compensates only showing 1 ad at the beginning. Anyway, I don't even upload shorts in my channel because once again, im paranoid it will change the algorithm, I will stick to what i've been doing, which is work on the video and hope you get lucky.

You are completly right. It is impossible to maintain a constant let's say 10% CTR.
What I know and noticed YouTube first shows your videos to a warm audience. What I mean by warm audience is, people who are really into the kind of stuff you upload. It's easy to gain a click and a high retention view from these kind of people.
After time goes by, YouTube shows the video to what I call cold audience. The cold audience are people who are not so interested in the type of content and the harder to impress people. Hence why your CTR will definetly go down once shown to these people. It is actually not a bad thing when the CTR goes down because that way you show YouTube that your videos are organic.
Also regarding your theory of being afraid to upload and having a bad video back to back. I honestly think that each video on your channel you are given a new chance. You should not be afraid to upload what you like because I even think that YouTube likes it. Even if the video performs bad, you will not lose any kind of ranking. You can not upload 10/10 videos and also trends play a big role in the alogirthm. There are a million factors and you can not control them so just keep having fun and upload videos on youtube.
I had a channel for 2 years had 36 subscribers average number of viewers per video 10-20. In last 2 months I've gained over 2k subscribers, now a bad video will get 5k views.
What caused the bump. Luck. My video was suggested to another video that was doing well and everything took off from there, this was 2 weeks after I posted the video. Title not similar, tags not similar, topic was similar, so who the hell knows what happens.
People always loved my videos, but YT didn't care because not enough views. No views, no push. But how do you get views if they won't give you a push? I almost quit 5-10 times.
I am still an amateur but here is what I have noticed for my videos the last 2 months.
All of them start with at least 15% CTR some as high as 30%. Some get a massive boost some do not. Still trying to figure out why.
My videos are usually around 1 minute. All have good retention but no trend is figuring out why one is getting pushed and another is not.
I think a lot of the push has to do with the topic or person being talked about, if that topic is hot it gets pushed (just a guess, bc no data yet can tell me why)
When the CTR is high YT pushes it and it will eventually come down.
Time of day does seem to matter for me.
Too many videos posted to close together, same day but an hour or so a part seems to hurt.
Browse views is definitely important, maybe most important thing.
All my videos are 96% or better like:dislike ratio

just re-checked my last 2 weeks here is what you should be shooting for
all videos CTR 15% or higher
videos 1-2 minutes long, retention 75% or higher
less than 1 minute 85% retention or higher and CTR is much more important
if its a hot topic will also get a push, can get hot weeks after you post it
nothing ground breaking.
Get clicks (advertising 101)
have good/interesting/entertaining content (what YT will tell you)
all videos CTR 15% or higher
