Although we aim to reply to every request we get as quickly as possible, we are only human.

Sometimes people are off sick. Sometimes people go on holiday. Sometimes we’re just overrun with other stuff that comes up.

We’re doing our best to make sure you have everything you need to keep BHW running, so please be patient with us. If you have been waiting a while, send us a polite reminder and we will look into it, but don’t spam us. It will only make us want to ignore you even more.

That makes sense. It’s easy to forget that moderators and staff here are volunteering a lot of their time while also having lives outside the forum. A reminder like this helps set expectations and keeps communication clear.
From my side, I’ve found that when I send a concise, respectful follow-up instead of repeating the same request, it usually gets resolved faster. Maybe this post should be pinned more visibly so newer members understand how support works and don’t get frustrated or spam threads.

Thanks for the reminder and for all the work you do behind the scenes. It’s easy to forget how much goes into keeping the forum running smoothly. Patience goes a long way, and a polite follow-up always beats spamming.
