Hello,

I have a blog with 6 months in a niche with low competitors, like... my keywords are searched a lot but the articles of my competitors are totally trash and i have just a few competitors!

I'm making good articles, super articles with SEO techniques i'm learning in this journey and i'm ranking some keywords in Top10/20 but i can't reach the Top3/5 because i don't have any authority neither backlinks! (I guess that's the reason... Im still learning.)

I'm trying to contact owners of blogs of my niche to write guest posts but no one wants to "help" me! Some of bloggers try to request me like 1000$ for an article with one link... Like, WTF?

So yeah, i don't know what to do!

If you were on my skin what you would do? Thanks for the help!

(Sorry for bad english!)

There was a good post on the AHRefs blog about this recently - https://ahrefs.com/blog/blogger-outreach/

But otherwise, pay someone to do it for you.

I'm reading now the article and my mind is opening more... Maybe i was failing in my messages! Thanks buddy.
But anyway, it's a good idea pay to someone but i don't much about that... What budget should you think i need?

Thanks a lot!

Of course! Guest posting is not about helping the guest author. Why they would want to help a random guy on the Internet? Don't take it personally, I am just trying to see the things better. You need to offer them a guest post that they will want on their website. Something that will be valuable for their readers.

If you're in the top 10, you may not need more links. CTR and UX are quite important. The results get shuffled around all the time. You can try this before you buy more links. It's free.
  • Improve your page titles (high CTR)
  • fix any on page deficiencies
  • try satisfying the search intent above the fold. the search should terminate above the fold on your website.
If none of this helps, then you can just buy a few links.

I've found that I get more replies when you personalize your outreach emails and compliment their website. For example look at their posts and find one closely related to your niche and mention how you enjoyed the post and you feel it falls in line with your own writing style/views etc.

Tiago, pm me your outreach approach if you want my opinion. I'm not an expert link builder but I have been involved in the last couple of years and I gained some knowledge. I'll be happy to help.

Better off hire someone to get it done while you're busy building manual links to it. Also, keep an eye on new thread openings.

But thanks for the help anyway... I'm reading articles about that and improving and creating good outreach approach... If you know any good article talking about that send it to me... Thanks a lot for the help!

Yeah page speed is really important. Especially if you’re already on page 1. You HAVE to be faster than everyone else on page 1. If your site is slow, there’s a higher chance of people clicking the back button and clicking on another search result. As you can imagine, this is very very bad!

If you’re already on page 2 and if your keyword is not very competitive, there’s a chance that your on page/site is holding you back. Increase your keyword density and see what happens.

If you want a CORA report for your keyword/URL, send me a PM and I’ll run it for you. All the best.

As a writer, I can tell you that absolutely none of us will freely write for a blog unless (1) it's a highly recognizable site and (2) it's assumed that traffic will flow from it. Your best bet would be to seek out people who want to write for "experience" or who want to "test out" their SEO skills.

Whatever you do, don't approach freelancers for this. They'll eat you alive.

Look for college students and people interested in breaking away from the SEO agency that they're working for instead.

@tiagocardoso Have you used a sequence of letters? I mean when you write one main letter and schedule at least two follow-ups.
I found that several ideas about guest post based on blog analysis significantly increase reply rate. Also when you receive a price of 200$ you can always ask a discount.

If the issue is one of being hassled by bloggers who want you to pay to guest post, try restricting yourself to free guest post sources. You should still follow the recommended etiquette to persuade them to accept your article. Even better would be to talk to sites with a good authority or traffic profile that will pay YOU for the post, once they approve or the post. Guest the best of both worlds.
