I can't create a subreddit

Hi everyone, I’m having trouble creating a subreddit.

I bought an aged account with over 1,000 karma. I participated in discussions and wrote posts though not very actively, just about 3-6 contributions (comments or posts) a week. After a couple of weeks, I tried to create a subreddit, but whenever I clicked the "Save" button, an error popped up, the subreddit wouldn't save and the process would crash. I tried this for several days in a row but nothing worked.

Has anyone else run into this? What could be causing it, and how can I fix it?

It could be an account restriction not a karma issue. Since the account was bought, reddit may also have flagged something on the account.... or maybe contact reddit support
 
It sounds more like an account or Reddit-side restriction than a karma problem. Try creating the subreddit from another browser or the desktop version, and if it still fails, ask Reddit support what restriction is preventing it.
 
100% account flagged, if you’re multi-accounting there might be a leak somewhere within your (fingerprint) config. Could also be as simple as a low quality proxy that burned the account.
 
your activity level might not be the only factor account, age, standing and reddits internal eligibility checks can matter too.

What does the error say?

The most important part of the equation might be this
 
Try opening your profile from another account or while logged out. Your account might actually be suspended or flagged without you realizing it, which could explain why it won't let you create the subreddit.
