I can't select the description with my mouse. Try this with mozilla and chrome.

Ha, I actually found this post googling "cannot copy youtube description". Looks like they've disabled it

Been like this since last week, afaik.

Still don't stop me scraping though, and clean it with regex (can also use Firefox Firebug):



With Firebug, you can copy the text, stick it in an online html stripper (can't remember which one).

Yes youtube become very hard nowadays for ppd.Videos are deleted within one minute.

Or you can press CTRL + P (print) and select text there and copy it
Simple method.

Yeah they removed the ability to copy descriptions due to many people just copying descriptions/keywords of related videos to get views. You can still pull the info from the source though:

Yes YouTube has disabled the ability of copying the description. But the method suggested suggested by GenerationSEO to get it from the page source is working fine. We need to stick to it till we get something new and much better way.
