I've tried everything. Restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled, turned off my antivirus. Nothing works. I have no cracked software on my PC. When I try and open it, an error message very briefly shows up then exits.

It will really help to know what is the message you receive. Also you should reffer to their forum for any issues. When I first started with GSA, the forum helped me big time.

Maybe it has something to do with your antivirus, just add an exception for it or disable for couple of minutes to see if antivirus is blocking

I had a same problem and I found out I had a trojan on my vps. So check your system as GSA is by far the most reliable piece of software.

turn off UAC, disable antivirus, and maybe check for all windows updates first.
after that, do reboot, and try again.
If that doesnt work, post back.

Some less known AV detect GSA SER as virus. So turn of your AV, re-install GSA SER and then try.

Check your internet connection. GSA verifies your licence while loading and due to a bad internet connection it can not verify and closes. It happened to me.

Yep I've done everything suggested here and it still doesn't open.

Please post the error screenshot, then I can give you exact solution to troubleshoot it. As I'm tech geek

Can you answer exactly to which file are you giving the click to run?
Maybe you are clicking the wrong file.
Are you getting some prompt or something? Are you connected to internet?

No I am definitely connected to the internet and clicking the right file.

Try uninstalling it this way

Search "add or remove programs"

Find gsa in the list and uninstall it.

Turn off AV

re-download GSA

I've had some issues when the firewall was active from my security software..
Disabling the firewall and then running it seemed to have fixed that issue for me..

Is the error message not opening, or opening and closing too quickly to read/copy it. I've had this exactt drama with some other software. I eventually had to have a screen recorder running and then pull a frame that had the message on it to be able to read what my error was. I was simply missing a .dll or similar and just downloaded it and was sorted. I'd been stuffing around with their support for about 2 days before that, but without being able to tell them the error message they couldn't really help me.
