I suppose you're talking about rent. I currently live in a 3 bedroom flat in a quiet estate somewhere in the East. Rent is N400,000 yearly which is about $1,200. In some way better estates it's as high as $3000 yearly. Landlords here collect yearly payment. It's difficult finding a space where you pay monthly. But if you're looking to buy a house you should budget at least N10,000,000 ($28,000) for a bungalow in a low cost area.

I wish a house was that cheap in the UK. Need $500,000 for a nice house here now unless you want to live out in the sticks.
