Majority of the referring domains are do-follow with high DR.

I want to know whether this is something normal and a temporary boost OR something has gone wrong with my link building??

Though Ahrefs rank went up by 45mn, honestly speaking it is not a very big deal as competition at the end of the spectrum is not so high. Competition intensifies as your move higher and higher. I can see that you lost 49 backlinks but still your rank improved which is a good sign. It indicates that the links you acquired were good quality and helped you move up.
Don't get distracted by numerous metrices on the web. Focus on rankings and focus on cash flow. Cash runs a business not Ahref's rankings though they look fancy
