I am obsessed. Are you?

Grandslam, you have no idea on how many things you just wrote resembles my life and my own thoughts.

It feels great to actually know that there are people out there like you who've gone through a similar stage in their life or atleast know what i'm talking about.

And what you have said might be the answer to my frustrations. Maybe i am setting my goals too high and i'm actualy doing several things at one time which is hard to keep it organized.

I have read rich dad, poor dad and i do know about passive income.
I'll probably read the book again since it's been a long time.

Thanks a lot for your help!!

I wish you all the best and i hope you'll achieve your goals!

I'm 16 by the way.

I'm glad that my post was of use - I'm 17 so I know exactly what you're talking about-

That's awesome that you've read Rich Dad Poor Dad, it SO difficult to find anyone around our age that even gives 2 shits about becoming wealthy/financially free and is actually serious about buckling down and just going for it.

Study all of Robert's teachings about money. He is a wealth of information on the subject, and trust me, he knows what he's talking about - I got to see his orange lamborghini gallardo spyder last monday - its one sick car. Read every book he has written. You will be absolutely shocked with what you will learn.

It's really a breath of fresh air to find someone my age who's actually in the same boat as I am- it just frustrates me that most kids arent interested in learning about the art of making money just because their parents pay for everything. Theyre going to have a rude awakening when they finally get kicked out of the house and have to enter the real world.

Where are you from? I'm in MN (def moving once I graduate, it's wayyy too cold)

I really do consider this story the work of god.

I second that!

This thread definitely wasnt a mistake.

I think all 3 of us really have something in common. For real. I mean, I've never met anybody my age like both of you guys. We should start another thread and discuss all of our experiences with this kinda stuff. Sounds like both of you are some pretty down-to-earth guys.

Let me know what you two think!

GS

P.S. I apologize for the double post - I forgot to multiquote.. again.. sorry guys

Do you have any idea how much friends I lost over the last 1.5 years or so?

I was one of the coolest guys, people knew about me all over (they still do), girls loved me, till I found out about this. It became so fucking exciting. Before I was pretty much never home. After I started IM I wasn't leaving the back of the bedroom. Sittin all day reading shitty ebooks and guides, following headlines on forums... Until I finally took action. I put everything that I learned into my projects and created a plan.

I'm making a shitload each month now.

Once I started making huge amounts of money, I was able to buy pretty much everything I wanted. I re-established my social life, it took me about a month. I have a girlfriend now, I have my own business running, I spend no more than 3 hours per day checking stats and doing something new, and still make more.

And I'm not even in highschool.

And look over here. Say, havok (sorry big guy, had to mention u :D) - the dude makes about 20k per day. It's insane! I mean man, that's 600k per month, constant income and it probably increases.

There are as I found 2 types of people:

1. The gurus. They teach people how to make money creating courses. They are mostly expensive, work and are good. Those people are good at selling.

2. Action takers. People that look outside of product creation and selling information. Take a look at bhw. CPA.

Compare bhw sales section with WSOs.

WSOs are all info products. They teach people how to do stuff.

BHW sales section is pretty much TOOLS. They don't teach people how to do stuff, they help them.

DP is utter-crap, for dreamers at $7. I won't even mention it.

Anyway both info product creation works and doing something on the outside does.

If you decide to follow the second option, that's where most of the money is. Creating websites with unique ideas. You might bring the next twitter into live. All you need is a good idea and some investment. Many people over here say shitty stuff about gurus. It's because they hate product creation which is what the gurus teach. And they are pretty good at teaching other people product creation and their own shit.

Anyway I'm almost sure that there are guys out there raking in over half a million daily with CPA or even more. If you dedicate pretty much your life on that I'm almost sure you can make the same amount. Be confident, there's no failing. You just learn 1 more thing that doesn't work. Move on to what does and rinse and repeat.

Once you find a system of earning money online and getting profits it eventually gets automated and you won't spend as much time on the computer working.

It was bullshit. Anyone who says that money doesn't bring happiness doesn't fucking have any.

Once you've got money, you can fully concentrate on everything else, and get back on track within a month.

Totally agree a 100% thisoldhat. It is called cyberkinetics in full swing.

Yeah, it's true, most kids aren't interested in these kind of things.
Their way of having fun is drinking or smoking.
Ok, it can be fun at times to drink or smoke, but for me, being able to see what i've accomplished and having money to count, spend and invest is much more enjoyable than anything else.

I think the majority of people here think the same way, i guess that's why i keep coming back :D

Oh and i'm not quite sure what you meant by starting a similar thread?

I guess that's why I'm constantly on here too... haha

The thread was just an idea, it sounds like derrickvwall has experienced the same kind of situation that we have so i was thinking for the sake of simplicity that we start another thread for people our age that have been in the same predictament as we have and how they've/we've managed and what the eventual outcome was for buckling down and getting things done...i just said another thread just in case this one gets way too long or wanders off topic possibly...

I think it'd just be entertaining to share our stories in more detail-

Maybe we could talk on FB using that instant chat feature they added a couple months ago? PM me and let me know

I love making money , but you have to learn to balance it out. The first thing I do when i find a way to make is find out if the process can be mass produce and can be automated . If it no then I move on. I spend about 2 hours a day checking the programs I made to run those processes and about 5 hours find new ways to make money. But the 5 hours a day is not needed all the time. Try to find some hobby's I just took up scuba diving "even those i still think about how I can make money off of it eg. going to place on the river where people swim and looking for lost rings, ect gold" It not a bad thing to always think about money if you don't let it rule you. this world is ran on money so the more you make the more fun thing you can do with it, to me money is a joke worthless paper but as long as this world keep taking it all good for me. And remember you can't take it with you when you die so spend away, I try to go on 2 small vacations a month (2 days at the beach) and 1 big one very 4 months (3 week some were new). of course all the places I go have wifi , 3g or some kind of internet access I think my skin would peel off if I didn't have internet access for more then 2 days.

Starting is hard but if you FOCUS you'll reach your goal. Devise a plan from all the books you've read. Cut out the noise and focus until you become successful. That's what I'm doing. I'll get there in the end...

It sounds like you should get out and spend some time doing things with your friends. When your raking it in you'll want to spend time enjoying your money but how will you do that if you have no friends or a lover in your life? For most its not money that makes them happy, its the people in their lives.

I partially agree with this... You have the right idea about personal relationships - thats for sure. I think the challenge is delaying gratification. I guess its kind of like the glass is full/empty debate - you can have a lot of good friends/spouse that can make you happy, but what I've noticed, at least in my own life, is that 99% of relationship problems, whether friends or spouses, are caused by the lack of money. My view is that you should get your financial life in order first, then you can build up your social circle again with people who have the same or better context than you, since you're now financially successful. This financial success wil boost your confidence and allow you to make more friendships, as well as stronger relationships. Once you decide to become social again, its pretty easy to start making lots of friends again, ESPECIALLY when youre now actually financially free. Succesful people like hanging around other successful people.

The age old adage continues on: "Birds of a feather flock together".

I personally find both being able to get pussy whenever I want and yet at the same time be extremely computer-savvy to be an extremely isolating feeling. I'm sure others can relate.

Society has subtly trained itself to believe that the two can not coexist when obviously they can. Shit, life's fucking weird.

To OP - at first it is like that. You spend all the time at home and don't go out much. But once you understand IM and everything, you don't really need to learn much new stuff, you just do your thing, make sites, earn money, but it doesn't take as much time and effort as it did in the beginning when you were a complete newb. For me this learning curve was about 3 months. Of course, I still feel like a newb, but in a different way. Now at least I have the knowledge, and I know that when I will have lots of free time (soon) I will be ready to implement everything that is in my plans and get $$$.
