I am in desperate need for help!

Agreed.

File Chapter 13 Bankruptcy if you're worried about your credit history. Chapter 13 looks much better than Chapter 7, but unlike with Chapter 7 you'll have to make monthly payments on your Chapter 13 Bankruptcy for 3-5 years. I was forced to file Bankruptcy in 2000 when I got sued in civil court. I had about $12,000 worth of debt, and it came out to be about $120/month. Lawyer's fees included. It's really not as bad as you think, and it's a LOT more realistic than thinking someone's going to show you how to make $50,000 in 2 weeks...

Not only that but you have to have a Verified Business or Premier PayPal account in good standing for 60 days to get a PayPal debit card then wait the week or so while they get the thing sent to you.

Check the TOS of the PayPal debit card on the PP site.

maybe he can order peanut butter off ebay...

It's impossible to get a good answer for your foolish question.

You didn't have any money to invest, but you want to get $50,000 within 2 weeks.

You can make it from buying lottery, and you need several dollars and great luck.

You can make it from gambling, you also need money to start.

You can make it from heisting a bank, perhaps you need some weapons and partners, and 2 weeks is too short to do a good plan. --just a joke.

File for bankruptcy.

Get a fresh start and tell your old financial life to f*ck off.

Don't be stupid with your money again though.

Hey, if all you want to make is 50k and you pay your appx debt of 50k how will you pay the tax bill at the end of the year?

Excellent point. I made 50 grand in a couple weeks several times. 5 years later I am still paying for it.

New bankruptcy laws went into effect in Oct of 2006 making it much harder to get a fresh start. The fucking credit card lobbyists managed to bribe (lobby) the bill all the way through with almost no opposition.

I am trying to get a straight answer on whether or not bankruptcy can eliminate debts to the IRS, some say it can if its within a certain amount of time, some say it cant.

Unfortunately, most bankruptcy attorneys are so shady, they will gladly take the last pennies from someone who has none to give.

I'll be happy to give you $50k in one day. All you have to do is ask.

50k in 2 weeks? Id recommend robbing a bank.
Oh shit! that has a start up cost too: You'd have to buy a rubber mask, leather gloves, and nice handgun. Damnit, guess thats out of the picture too...

I know...he can buy a house with no money down using someone else's money and then flip it for profit in just 2 weeks in this down housing market... should be just wonderful. Need more money? Just do it with more houses. That's real miracle money :-)

Keep watching those Carlton Sheets infomercials. :)

It's possible but highly unlikely that he will be able to find a house at a great price, an assignable contract, a seller willing to accept his terms, an offer with no pre-approval and a willing buyer to close in two weeks.

ever hear of casey serin? he took 300k total in cash back in one year with no money down and another 200k in credit cards and business loans, sure the houses were forclosed on and he's in big debt but with 500k in his pocket I'm sure he's ok for the next 10 minutes...

First of all, thanks for all the replies (despite how snide some of them are). Though I thought of lashing out at the snide remarks, I guess I should bear a certain responsibility as I had not fully explained my situation.

So let me clarify:

I do not reside in the US, therefore all the advice on bankruptcy do not apply sadly.

I have a regular paying job still and have had it since 2001.

I am $50k in debt because of renovation loans. I took the 5year reno loan in 2005. However, my wife lost her job in early 2007 and when I passed her money to pay for the bills, apparently she did not pay it. Therefore, the banks have closed my loan account and are demanding every cent back. I am caught unaware as I only found out that she had not been paying the bills when my bank account was closed. In my country, all bank accounts are closed once bankruptcy has been filed by the creditors.

I half expected the mix of hilarious and snide remarks, I bear no grudges nor am I seething with anger. My rationale for starting the thread was just a desperate attempt to try all means available to me. As this forum has proved to be extremely educational for a noob like me. I naively tot I could fish out some secrets (if there was any) on how to save my situation. I still feel this forum is extremely useful and will continue to be here to learn from you guys.

Once again I thank you all for the attention. For all the kind remarks and advice, thanks! For all the snide remarks, I bear no grudge and understand where you are coming from. However thanks for the attention as well. For all the jokes and hilarious comments, cheers and thanks. It is always good to have a laugh at ourselves, my mood has been considerable lightened.

Hmmm seems like some speech I am giving.......forgive me for boring you guys. I just felt I should explain.

Let me clarify and consolidate some of the posts I can see coming. You should be open with your situation, if someone had posted a USA only way to make money it would have been a huge waste of their and your time. So what is your currency? Pesos?
