File Chapter 13 Bankruptcy if you're worried about your credit history. Chapter 13 looks much better than Chapter 7, but unlike with Chapter 7 you'll have to make monthly payments on your Chapter 13 Bankruptcy for 3-5 years. I was forced to file Bankruptcy in 2000 when I got sued in civil court. I had about $12,000 worth of debt, and it came out to be about $120/month. Lawyer's fees included. It's really not as bad as you think, and it's a LOT more realistic than thinking someone's going to show you how to make $50,000 in 2 weeks...
