that seo shit is pretty frustrating, waiting and it's fruitless for most of the time, G basically has all the money in the world to outsmart people on this forum.

Not only is SEO not dead. The Google update helped tackle Negative SEO risk. Just because something
doesn't work for you the first time doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Never think SEO is dead. Its a long term game where there are lot of difficulty but the end you will win if you run slow and steady.

I have ben doing this for 4 years part time and 1 year full time and yes some days it sucks, especially sometimes when the bills pile up, but hey that's life, and while I do have some days I don't earn $$ there are other days that are great. SEO might be dead for some but I'm not giving up.

First: If you have any better option, then you are stupid not to take it. SEO is risky but doesn't cost a lot of money to make it profitable.

maybe try running classified/display ads in newspapers or magazines? that's what i'm considering doing after all the trouble with google, seo agencies, and adwords.

I suppose that you got hit because of those tools. Having those tools doesn't make you money as the advertisement says. Those tools are just a small add on to SEO in general, especially in this ever-changing time.
