I used to like Fiverr -- I liked that sellers were kept honest by a review system, you had recourse if a seller screwed you, etc.

Now it's just a cesspit. Sellers must be faking their reviews, because I've only been ordering from supposed "5-star" rated services and I get handed back dog shit every time. Sellers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are the worst. I have stopped ordering from sellers in these countries altogether because 100% of the time the work was absolutely awful.

I have dabbled with SeoClerks but my experience wasn't much better there.
BHW Marketplace has some decent sellers but I am looking for more...

Any other recommendations for buying 'digital services' like on Fiverr?

Depends what you need. For local clients I've used marketerscenter.com in the past. They were really good but I haven't needed them for a few months. I've looked at konker.io too, but never used their services. Crorkservice is on there, I would highly recommend them. Used to use them when they were on fiverr.

Have you looked at upwork.com? Much more expensive, but people there seem to be more professional.

Same experience.. i try to avoid Fiverr but for time to time i need some services there and they have turned to absolute shit.. I left negative 1 star rating to a 5 star vendor.. nothing happens, the feedback didnt have any impact on the 5.0 points.. checked again 3 days later and same story and i saw other negatives there but it still remained 5 stars.

Pakis, Bangladeshis and Indians have taken it over completely.. the service is ridiculously bad. One of the Fiverr desginer move over to BHW and the content he produces is even worse than Fiverr because he can do whatever he wants in here, nobody cares as there is no proper system in place as you can leave an negative comment, but he spams it out with new posts fast.
 
Fiverr is good place if you want voice , design related stuff.

Mate, you need to understand this, you can't expect $7000 armani suit in $70
You gotta pay for quality and bifurcating it based on countries is a mistake. If you don't know much, a lot of outsourcing is done in these countries because of economical costs. Now, it is upto your intellect and experience of deciding what is "cheap" and what is "economical" since pile of s*it is served in every country. It may be third world nations or the modern developed nations.
Also, You attempted outsourcing SEO in fiverr? I commend you for that!!

Thanks I'll check these out. I used upwork.com a looong time ago and you're right - more expensive but it was a better experience overall.
 
I used to be a seller on Fiverr and didn't have very good experience in the last times too. People expect you to deliver extraordinary quality, while only paying net 4 $. Plus, the algorithm makes it harder and harder too.

Fiverr is not perfect for SEO. I would recommend using it for Videotestimonials for example. Did you use these packages sold by Pro-members or did you choose usual 5$ gigs? What did dissapoint you?

All this is speculation on your part. You don't know what gigs I've bought or how much I've paid.

I am not buying cheap services and expecting the world in return.
I am buying market-rate services from supposed 5-star sellers and getting dog-shit in return.

And no, nothing I've bought on Fiverr is SEO related (eg. link building, guest posts, etc.)
 
I have an absolutely shit experience with fiverr and konker, generally the good ones are personalized and not meant to scale. (I.e students, artsy artists etc)
 
I used to be a seller on Fiverr making over $1000 USD. every month. I had over 250+ 5-star reviews on 1 gig, Fiverr removed the gig from the search results for no reason. I had another gig with over 100+ 5-star reviews, it also go removed from the search results for no reason.

The whole website is screwed up. Fiverr doesn't promote the good gigs, they have an algorithm that randomly mixes everything up and gives crap sellers who haven't made more than $5 in 6 months priority over sellers making over $1000 a month.

I used to sell on Fiverr too and had this problem too. I don't think I got one negative review in 2000+ orders, yet my gig wouldn't appear in their search results or category rankings. It made no sense.

I haven't tried the pbn content on konker, but I heard hatred's is good.

The rest, not so much.

The keyword research I bought from (Sells on blackhatworld too), gave me shit keywords that don't match up with their volume as promised + not niche relevant. They have a $8 affiliate on a $20 package, which makes no sense at all. Asked to change the keywords twice, they are both shit - they gave me a refund in the end. Customer service was pathetic.

"Foundational links" that is always trending on konker, most of it doesn't even fucking index.

Everyone's just recommending shit off how much more they'll get for it. The trending packages are all inflated due to affiliate income.

Other than that, a few months they got hacked and all payments are rerouted. (Affiliates + payment to sellers)

No fucks were given, just 1 customer service guy on facebook asking peeps to refund on paypal lmao.

I faced this problem too. What I dont understand is why a lot of fraud sellers from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan have the services on the top of search results while our gigs is hidden, removes, etc...? Do they have a trick to cheat? Anyone knows?
 
I got some really reliable sellers on fiverr, and I got some long term clients from there as well, so you do get good work on there but I admit there’s a lot of crap.

Here’s what I do from a sellers perspective - I keep my prices high, and I probably only get 1 in 10 quotes accepted- that way I find buyers that don’t have the typical fiverr mentality.

And equally, as a buyer myself I rarely go for gigs that are $5 and so on - because let’s be honest, how much effort would anyone put in for $5 - 20% - PayPal fees?
