I am an iPhone user considering getting another smart phone - Convince me!!

If your not getting the Iphone 5 then it has to be the S3.. i would go S3 over Iphone5 anyway, probably be cheaper too? should be anyway lol

I had all the iPhones starting from 3g and i've moved to android. Much better and lets you use your phone as a phone.

I now have a galaxy s3
 
Check out the new Nokia Lumia 920. This will be game-changer.
 
One iPhone can buy almost 2 similar hardware Android type of phones.
 
To all those saying that iPhone ain't the same without Steve, you just want to make me ROFL. iPhone with or without Steve has lost it.

Windows is a great platform, and I've never had any problems with it. Its the bloatware that is installed by assemblers and even stores,that causes the headaches. Even bestbuy is putting a bestbuy app store program on the laptops they sell.
 
Android is unfinished business, with Wild West app store and uber-fragmented hardware (I own Android phone). iOS devices are more polished, and if you apply jailbreak (which is legal), your possibilities are limitless. The only thing that always had and will suck are the iTunes: terrible piece of software.
I am planning to get myself the new iPhone: great screen, tethering that works, better UI polish and included navigation. That's enough for my needs.

Get copytrans , you can use this instead of itunes, use itunes to upgrade ios
 
I would say Samsung has lost it ;) Steve Jobs' Apple started all the smartphone & tablet trends, the others were just followers.
And a smartphone isn't just about the fucking hardware - what would you do with 8-core phone that runs on symbian?
I'm not a fanboy, but iphone 4 was the first phone that didn't cause me any headache and was a pleasure to have. It has everything I need and it runs smooth & fast + it fits my pocket. The only thing that can make me change it is a higher battery life, so the only appealing phone for me right now is motorola razr maxx.
What Apple did with its latest release makes no sense at all. They just had to make the best battery and everyone and their mother would have bought it, not only because it was cool, but because it was useful and a much needed upgrade.

Thanks guys for all the input. The more I look at the Samsung Galaxy S3, the more I like it. But I am just so used to the iPhone..

Can you jailbreak and/or unlock the Galaxy S3?
 
Get iPhone 5, trust me, you won't regret it. Everyone can make bigger phones better, but not everyone can make smaller phones better - Apple.
It's the world's thinnest smartphone and is completely solid, made from aluminum and glass. S3 doesn't even come close to it - I mean plastics on the body? Ergonomics wise, iPhone simply is the best.
