I bought the iPhone 3Gs (the biggest selling smartphone in smart phone history) a few years ago. I haven't bothered upgrading since it has been working just fine for me and none of the iPhone 4 or 4s features really compelled me to get them.

Well the iPhone 5 was just announced today and I wasn't exactly wowed, at all. It seems nice, but I hear people talking about how their smart phones are so much better..

What kind of smart phone do you have and why should I get that instead of the new iPhone 5?

I own the iPhone 4 and I am happy with it, I havent looked much at the iPhone 5 but I will tell you the iPhone 4 is MUCH better than the 3.

As far as others I was messing with someones samsung the other day and it seemed incredible, big screen, great sounding audio, great looking video, etc. I will probably go with the 5, but you anything will be better than your 3.

Actually there was not too much of a difference between the iPhone 3Gs and the iphone 4, besides Siri (which really isn't all that great) and Facetime (which is even less great).

I am a long time iphone/ipad user. Looking forward to upgrading to an iphone 5 until I saw they have changed the charger/dock. Really pissed off about this and definitely thinking of looking at the Samsung now.

I have an iPhone 4S and to be honest, buying the iPhone 5 isn't worth it in my opinion.

Too much proprietary crap. Just a phone or data cable for apple is ridiculous compared to standard mini usb all other phones use, and now they/apple are changing them so all of your things will now need an adapter and look like crap.

The only reason to switch is if you have no real tie to the apps on your iphone. There is one app that I use a lot and there isn't an equivalent android app so that's the only reason for staying with apple at the moment, certainly not because of the hardware because it's latest and greatest just caught up to Samsung's phone that's been out for months.

Iphone 5 is better than iphone 4 or 4S but its price that varies, you could get iphone 4S and you would love it, i have it and i love quality what apple provides.

Also dont tak samsung, lg or other shit, its just isnt worth it and you will regret it since they pretty much sucks

Ohh also, there are tons of apps for iphone to use for SEO , kw tracking and IM. They are awesome

As far as quality goes, I have never had a bad iPhone. Gone through 3g, 3gs, 4, and 4s along with galaxy s II and several other android phones. Although the android phones are very well built and run things great, I have always had lock ups and problems with applications running on the android software. Just like Mac vs Windows, Apple never gives the headaches like other platforms do.

I went from a Blackberry bold to Iphone 4s last year, Bold wins hands down as a phone for doing stuff I need to do. Signal is rubbish on this iPhone.

Blackberry?! No thanks. I may consider Samsung, Android, etc, but I've had a Blackberry before and it's just not what I want.

I love my iPhone, but I want something similar but better.

Yeah I also have a Blackberry and its a piece of crap compared to an iphone. I have four iphones in my house an ipad and numerous ipods...I really like Apple products....Im not some fanboy, I couldnt care less about Steve Jobs or the company ethos I just find their products top quality and user friendly. But this new charger thing is a complete pisser.

Ten-Fifteen years ago when Nokia owned the mobile market they started to do similiar crap..where are they now ?

i have Samsung s3 since the time it was launched and am loving it never had any problem with it ..i had s2 before that was also great experience there screen size and display is best love to watch movie on it and browsing ... great experience :)
