i have recently joined as a affiliate in clickbank and i started promoting a fitness book by posting ad regarding the book in many websites(along with the hoplink). it has been 2 days and i haven't earned a penny yet. what is the reason? am i doing something wrong?

Well thats a whole can of worms question that could only be answered by reading a book about marketing.

Have you identified and isolated the target demographic correctly?

Is the book/product actually any good, does it have a gravity score?

the gravity for the product is given as 1.03. can u please say what is meant by target demographic?

Know your target market. Who are you targeting? What is your book about? Are Americans interested in this book or is it more for Asians? You should know WHO the product is for so you know how to market it properly.

Not that I'm an expert at this, but isn't a gravity of 1.03 incredibly low? It could either be that the product is new, or it's not selling very well. If it's the latter, maybe it's because the sales page of the product you are re-directing to isn't convincing? Either that, or the traffic you are trying to drive to it is garbage :p

`Bad period to start clickbank as they'll change their shit in January 2013. Why don't u try amazon or anything else?

So, first of all, you're promoting the wrong product. A 1.03 Gravity is *insanely* low. You shouldn't be touching any product under 20 Gravity. Realistically, if you really want to stick to proven products that'll make money, you should really only be using products that have a Gravity of at least 100. There are *tons* of products that are proven in the weight loss market, including Truth About Abs and Fat Loss Factor, there is absolutely no reason to use non-sellers.

And if you're based in India and want to sell to the Indian market, I agree with the earlier poster - Use Amazon. Find some appropriate Indian books and sell those. But if you're selling to Americans, use a higher converting page.

P.S:In the beginning stick only to FB and/or YT!
